I do actually enjoy playing slap settings despite halo 5s awful aiming People should forge for it because we have been playing often The pacing on box town is way better for slap settings, so I’m currently adding some things like jump ups for certain areas since I strictly designed it for h5 (KMS) **** clamber
Oldschool OS spawn that you don't have to grab to get? Quake style health/armor pickups? A method to rocketjump without dying? A teleporter that gives the illusion of showing the other side of it?
Well the first issue with those games is the marketing, I only have heard of Quake Champions through youtube, and I had no idea Unreal Tournement 4 was in beta currently until I researched it.... Seriously how do they expect to get any players with the almost non-existant amount of exposure? Now that I know id love to try it, I think the main issue is the lack of GOOD modern arena shooters that aren't incredibly lacking in content or stupidly bare bones. I just can't wait for another old ass franchise to say "we're going back to the roots" as an excuse to have hardly any content and an Over-simplfied sandbox that just relys on nostalgia for sales. When you hear "going back to our roots" as an advertisment you just know the next game is going to be lacking in content, I swear. SEQUALS SHOULD HAVE ALMOST ALL FEATURES OF PREVIOUS GAMES.
The numbers are better than i thought is all. Especially considering QC pulled a Halo 4 and abandoned a core arena shooter principle. Its still early access as well.
With how hard to find a match in QC I'm gonna call it now; its gonna go F2P, within the year. It almost has to to get a decent playerbase. It's a shame, because it looks and plays actually really well. When you can find a ****in match.
Eh. Tons of netcode issues. The movement is totally neutered compared to old quake movement. Physics tied to framerate. Stupid health system. And that doesn't even mention the champion system. Even if it went even starts it'd be mediocre.
stone and i forced him to play it and he realized it wasn't even that bad without the jumps there. also, need to fix oddball still but the weapons are fixed
Ut4 has 10 concurrent players, how in the world is it doing better than what you thought it would unless you were predicting 5 concurrent players, but I call bullshit on that lmao
I do like the new UT. I don't like how they are basically pretending it doesn't exist though with how little they are trying to get people playing it though. Also kinda sucks that it is probably never going to be fully released.
