You DOGS argue over the dumbest random **** Post your favorite games and let's get a real argument going. Mine in no particular order: Spoiler Spyro Trilogy -Endlessly charming whimsical fantasy games that still inspire my art to this day. I forget which one I like the most, but I couldn't put Year of the Dragon down Halo 3 ODST -Best solo Campaign experience, best soundtrack, fun Firefight. Halo 2 (Campaign) -Nostalgia for the amazing legendary co-op experience back in the day makes up for how bad it is to play now. At least the music and dialog is still good Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition -Basically a masterpiece with flawless controls Star Wars Jedi Outcast II -Amazing multiplayer. **** Battlefront. Star Wars Clone Wars 2002 -My first Star Wars game and I played the **** out of the horde and conquest mode with my brother. Horizon Zero Dawn -I always enjoy the immersive action in this game whether I play for 5 minutes or 5 hours, and GG made a lot of promising improvements in the DLC that have me hoping that the sequel knocks it out Ty the Tasmanian Tiger -SUCH AN UNDERRATED GAME Lego Star Wars (all except TFA) -All of these games were fun co-op experiences, even the buggy mess that was TCW. First is still my favorite. Super Smash Bros Melee -Nuff said. Crash Bash -Best party game. **** you Mario. Sled Storm -Best racing game. Castle Crashers -Rude button mashing goodness with a good amount of content. Animal Crossing Wild World and New Leaf -Best play-while-pooping games (not that I did that). New Leaf actually got me through a really rough time... Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team and Explores of Sky -Lowkey the best Pokemon games with good stories and challenging gameplay. Toontown Online -I've played this game longer than any of the others and it's not worth explaining why. But just trust me when I say that you had to be there to experience the culture and expansion boom that made it addictive. Honorable Mentions: Destiny Multiplayer before Bungie completely ****ed it up Pokemon Diamond since it was my first mainline Pokemon game Halo 3 multiplayer since it was the first one I played online and BTB was lit Metroid Prime Hunters because **** you and your sniper whoring Fernando, I was better than you And if someone asks me why I haven't played Kingdom ****ing Hearts again I will murder a goat. I DIDNT OWN A PS2
I haven't played that many games really. From the top of my head and not in any order; Halo CE - mysterious story, great gameplay, design and music. Awesome campaign and coop was so fun. Halo 3 - My favourite Halo overal. Loved everything about this game. Halo 3 ODST - Best music in any Halo game, wonderful campaign, loved the atmosphere. Zelda - A Link to the Past - Need I say more. The Witcher III - Story, huge world, discovery, so much to do, cool combat, gameplay, design, characters, voice acting, it's all so rich, alive and impressive. More macabre then similair games. Monkey Island 1 and 2 - Funniest writing in history of gaming. Challenging and fun adventures. Instant classics. Bioshock 1, 2 and Infinte - Atmosphere, plot, locations, narrative, gameplay. All fantastic. Beyond Good and Evil - Sick plot, nice variety in gameplay. Very underrated. GTA San Andreas, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption - Soundtracks, characters, story and narrative, freedom, discovery, fantastic created settings and world building. Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City - Great combat and huge variety of puzzles, stealth and action.
To Dust Favourite games (in no particular order): Spoiler Pokemon Crystal version Dark Cloud 2 Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Ratchet & Clank (all of them) Halo 3 Unreal Tournament Super Mario Sunshine Dark Souls 1 & 3 Quake Path of Exile
Link to the Past CE Kingdom Hearts 1&2 Conker's Bad Fur Day Jet Set Radio Dank Souls with a special shout out to Scholar of the First Sin because it doesn't get enough love.
Spyro, Crash, Tony Hawk, and Gran Turismo were my childhood, my dude. Top 10 in no particular order: Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (I played this one over and over again for, like, 4 years of my childhood) Tony Hawk: Underground (2's story make me cringe tbh) Tony Hawk: Pro Skater 3 (best TH game. Period.) Gran Turismo 3 (most quality content of the series and my first GT game) Halo: CE (played this when I was 5 because my friend's mom didn't give a **** what he played lol) Halo: Reach (first Halo I had owned myself, and where I became a concussion rifle addict because rocket jump lol) Gmod (who tf has anything bad to say about gmod? just that it's outdated? pfft) The Last Of Us (I didn't play it myself, so I don't know if it's clunky, but I love the story) Left 4 Dead 2* (*modded beyond absurdity) Overwatch (mainly because I enjoy coming up with character ideas and the customs)
The more I play games the more I hate them all Literally the only game left that I don't hate is dark souls 3 Fortnite is a good game and I think it's a perfect example of how a game can take over if it has character and decent mechanics to go along with it, but I'm tired of it Halo 1 through ODST campaign is the only thing left in halo I genuinely enjoy, the rest can die The witcher has a great story and an okay world, but the mediocre combat left me uninterested The only thing keeping overwatch alive are asians who want to **** tracer Does destiny 2 even exist anymore? There's nothing they could do to call of duty to warrant spending 60 dollars I've played my fill of world of warcraft but they are making huge leaps forward. The new expansions world coming out has better graphics and detail than overwatch, and they're revamping all animations and sound design. It will be a great game like it always has been, but finally up to date. Like I said though, I've played enough Mobas are the epitome of boring, except for Smite, which has awful developer support so it's dying Gears of war has always been cool to me and was a huge part of my childhood but I can't seem to play more than one game before quitting because cover based combat is stupid (they do it better than anyone else, I just don't like it in general) Spyro was the first time I felt like I could actually explore in a game but I barely remember it because I'm not old as **** The rugrats game was cool Anything naughty dog makes looks good but is a chore to play Yeah I think my favorite game outside of dark souls 3 is the rugrats game so good job developers you're killing it Literally
The fact that smite is dying because of Paladins is pretty stupid considering it will never compete with OW. It actually makes me feel kind of sad because I thought smite was pretty cool when I tried it out.
DS3 is probably the only game I can go back to and consistently have fun every single time I play it. DS1 is great but it has kinda aged, but DS3 is a ****in mastapiece.
Ps2: All the Sly Cooper games were a blast and had a lot of charm and fun combat. If you haven't played em, go to it. Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2: excellent music, fun combat, really cool boss fights. Interesting worlds. Gamecube: melee, for obvious reasons. Mario Kart Double Dash is the best mario kart by far and every time they announce a new one WITHOUT two people on one car I roll my eyes. I don't understand why they won't go back to that it was so much better. All Zelda games. Wii: Twilight princess was awesome Metroid prime 3 corruption was literally such a sick fps that was actually challenging and nerve racking and it was on the freaking wii. Highly recommend Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2: the best mario games I've ever played even next to Mario 64. Yes seriously. The level design is A1, the music is unlike any other Nintendo game, and it's all based around 1 single combat move. Xbox: Halo, Gears Random stuff: Doom 2016 was such a god send title ive written up an entire review on it if you care to read it look through my threads. Witcher 3: without a doubt the uncontested best open world/rpg ever made. It is MADNESS that the game even ****ing exists, a work of art. Skyrim: worse than the witcher in every way imaginable way but man the game has so much charm. So many funny moments Super Mario 64 Ds; like the original but with added stars and other characters to play as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue: such a unique and underrated challenging game Pokemon Ranger: kinda repetitive but cool Pokemon Ruby was my first Pokemon and my favorite because of that . Battlefield Bad Company 2: best battlefield, best maps, best balance, best expansion with the Vietnam thing .so good Rainbow Six Vegas 2: cool stealth game with lots of ways to kill, and you could take your face and plaster it on your character Both Dark Souls 1 and 3 are masterpieces. Wish I could play bloodborne
I think Dark Souls 3 has the worst PVP, but the game is definitely really polished and smooths out a lot of the quirks from the previous entries. The actual pve and story are amazing. The straight sword meta for pvp is just kind of meh. I haven't played in a while though so straight swords might not be the gang busters they were before. Though Dark Souls 2 is probably the worst of the three it had a pretty diverse meta for pvp with strongest approach having a fairly high skill ceiling. It requires you to parry, open your menu and switch to a great sword before they are no longer stunned from the parry and thwack their ass. Miss timing this could lead to you being back stabbed or pancaked. Another funny thing about the game is the strongest pve build was trash for pvp. The broken weirdness of the first two games just opens up some possibilities to run gimmicky builds more so than the third game allows. My opinion would probably be different if I played the third one first though because I would go back to the old ones and get pissed at the clunkyness. God Bless SoulsBorne.
Spoiler Halo 3 Fallout New Vegas Oblivion (Unlike Skyrim it actually gives good rewards for quests and has lots of unique weapons and armor) Super Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door Terraria Dark Souls Super Mario Sunshine LOZ-Twilight Princess Metal Gear Solid IV (Hands down the best and most fun stealth game, nothing even compares to me) Super Metroid Link to the Past Bioshock Super Smash Bros. Melee Resident Evil 4 Pikmin Ocarina of time Super Mario 64 Super Mario Sunshine Mario and Luigi Partners in Time. (best ds game ever made) Animal Crossing Sonic Mania (not even a sonic fan but holy **** this game was fun)
