Check the El Dewrito thread. Your answers lie there. @HeX Reapers you should lie to them and say that the maps would have gone in if there would have been a V9. lol
It wouldn't get by, most are H3 vets lol. Not only are they on top of that stuff, they're very strict on what gets used. Originals could be used for practice I'm sure, they just can't touch the circuit.
Most of those guys didn't know what was going to be in V9. It was Hexagen or whatever the hell it was called.
****, really? I remember that map from Reach... Maybe if you remake it and tell them that they'd consider (But I doubt you'd want to).
the map was **** in reach because it relied on the H3 BR. They tested in reach to because of that fact. Most forgers were pretty pissed considering we just held a couple of testing runs that some pretty good maps came out of but Tak really didn't help anyone out other than himself and his friends. Example: Embassy by Solo should have gotten in to the Reach circuit but he pushed someone else's map and made an excuse that it was like Sanctuary even though it was closer to being like the pit and was better than the pit. A pit remake by Salot eventually got in.
All your Slayer Maps are sym... you must be retarded or mentally ill for liking that trash. Everyone here on forgehub knows syms are trash for slayer and all other opinions are wrong. Whats wrong with you bro!?
The dark souls universe lends itself to be more varied and artistic. Bloodborne is just Victorian town after Victorian town. It all looks good, but it's sorely lacking variety. You know, like metal maps. All one color.
Bought the game like a week ago and so far its great! The only thing I dont like is that there are so many weapons, but only a few are worth using. I used the long sword for a couple hours and then I started using the sellsword twinblades. I have been using them ever since I got them (in like the second area) and I only have one more Lord of Cinder to kill. Everything other weapon I've tried just feel sluggish and has weak DPS. I know some of the Great Swords are supposed to be good but they just feel so slow. Also that tutorial boss was a huge pain in the ass. I spent 3 hours trying to beat him. No other boss has given as much trouble.
I still think Vordt should have been the very first boss in the game. Ludex Gundyr is more difficult than like the first 5 non tutorial bosses.
The more you play the more you'll start to experiment with weapons. There are a ton of different builds that make all sorts of weapons amazing, but there are still a lot of katanas/sword/greatswords/hammers/axes/spears that all work well with a normal strength/dexterity build. Just experiment and once you find a weapon with a move set you like, upgrade it and infuse it. It will do fine dps after that.
I promise you that every weapon in the game has some utility. They're all very potent in the correct context. The sellsword twinblades happen to be like...the best boss shredding weapons in the game with the LB combo, but they blow against normal tanky enemies. No stun potential and no reach. Can't shield with theme either. The more you play I promise greatswords will grow on you my first playthrough was almost exclusively with the twinblades. My second with a straight sword. Third with a great sword. And now I'm using axes and clubs. And by tutorial boss do you mean the crystal lizard? You'll fight more later on and realize how easy they are. You just get better at the game, that's all
