Yo. Does anyone have a 4v4 layout they'd like to give to ya' boi? Wyv's scify stuff has me on a scify stint.
stranger things was meh The first season was filled with mystery and ominous stuff, and the second was super dumbed-down and left almost nothing to the imagination.
I kinda felt the same way. I still liked the second season but i felt like I could predict everything that was going to happen. One thing I nerded out about though was the design of the shadow monster. Look up Amygdala from Bloodborne and you'll see that they have a very similar silhouette. And they are both Lovecraft inspired beasts.
Got the macro layout for my ski resort done. Buildings are where I want them to be, slopes and mountains are where I want them to be, mainly just gotta work on designing the pathing within the buildings you can see. I have a feeling this is gonna be a difficult layout to balance, but obviously I'n hoping to nail it first try. Giving a lot more thought than I have in the past to the pathing to get the types of encounters this map will need. Gonna be for twos. In case it's not obvious, yes, the chair lift is going to mostly accessible to the player. The lower two pillars you can see in this picture are supporting catwalks that you can walk on. Also I'm toying with the idea of having a scripted chair lift go up the cables every 30 seconds or so. You'd be able to hop on and get to the catwalks and generally just gain a height advantage. Not sure if it's gonna be necessary with the other pathing I have on the ski slope, but it'd definitely be cool to have.
I actually like the 2nd season more. I don't watch TV much so maybe that's why. I really liked the cliche cheesyness off it, felt really right for a 80's scfi throw back. I guess it's all about what your looking to get from it.
Jeez all these maps and forging going on. I'm so confused. I will start season 2 this weekend somewhere. Loved the first one.
@Ascend Hyperion I sent you a p.m. with a video link for an infection layout that would be perfect for the four interior buildings to have a sci-fi layout.
That's the same thing I was saying. I also didnt like the whole eleven punk coming of age episode. That was a waste of time. I hated all of those characters, especially 006. I wanted to punch her. I want them to explore the health issues of the experiments. Their noses are always bleeding but nobody says **** about it. That and how frail eleven looks after using her power.
Like most series, season 2 is a build up to the other seasons. It was mainly to flesh out the world more and lay groundwork for plotlines.
I don't know why but I can't stop laughing; all I can think of are the Prophets trying to do snow angels and failing horribly
Last night I was stuck in a part of my house where I can't reach my PC (keeping kids alive), so I decided to plug in my Xbox 360 after watching ForgeLabs' new H3 oneX enhanced gameplay video made me want to play Halo 3. On this big 42" Tv Sony Bravia from around 2010... I have been using a really nice ASUS 144hz monitor for all gaming for a couple years... (in love w/ it) The screen lag on the TV was so f'ing bad! Input lag must be about half a centurty, and the response time a quarter of a millenium. You'd move your stick, and it was very obvious. The images just smeared across the screen (response time), and the 30fps refresh rate of Halo 3 made it absolutely unplayable. I got through a couple checkpoints and realized it was making me sick. I was encouraged though, cuz my H5 play has made me a much better player. I started with Heroic because I wasn't sure how casual I wanted to play, but I mowed down everything I saw pretty quickly, even with the above impairments. If I plug it in again, it will need to be on the good monitor for sure! And, also getting into Halo Online would be a good idea EDIT: Oh, and Halo 3 you couldn't zoom in with the reticule on a lot of weapons? I remember that now... but damn that sucks! Halo 5 with Halo 3 settings seems a LOT better after this little excursion.
