Quick let’s start a debate about guns

 

Just finished Wolfenstein 2. Really awesome game, it's kinda like what CoD campaigns would be if they were actually good. Really really great gunplay and responsive controls. Some nice charming writing too, gave me a laugh a few times. Not the longest game but would recommend.

 

Digital Foundry seem to be pretty happy with what they've seen so far.



My main hobbies are movies and gaming and as such I don't find the Xbox One X expensive enough to pass over on the upgrade. It's not like I'm broke and even if I was, a year and a half was plenty of time to save up for it.

Those that don't have the money to buy an X and are sitting with the launch Xbox One should really consider the Xbox One S. Only desperation would make me go back to the Original XBOne. You can pretty much pick and choose what upgrades on the S justify your purchase, be it size, removal of brick, performance, 4k streaming, 4k upscaling, 4K Bluray, HDR (I ****ing love HDR), a controller with BT, a 3.5mm jack, and it doesn't constantly drop connection. Pretty much any 2 of those things together were enough reason for me to switch. (I didn't realize it was so lean on power, which is another benefit.)

The X may be a bit of a stretch for most but hell if I don't waste a little money on what gives me the most pleasure then where should I waste it. Responsibilities? Pfft!!! Anyways, I was just curious if anybody here was going to treat themselves. It looks like the answer is no.

Money isn't an issue at all. It's just I'm the last person who gives a **** about the things you listed lol.

 

lol. I loved my Original Xbone but the 3 machines that I played on would drop my controller constantly and it was driving me mad. In a few hours of gaming with a friend we would lose connection anywhere from 6-12 times between us. 10 feet away with the latest firmware on the controllers and it didn't matter. I even tried the One S controller on the old system and though it was greatly improved, it still occasionally dropped connection. I swear to god I may have to beat an engineer if I'm ever forced back on that system.

Honestly though, the sum of the improvements on the One S can't truly be appreciated until you switch from one to the other. It feels like the hardware we deserved to get at launch.

 

Never happened to me once but it sounds annoying as hell.

I'm usually late with any hardware switch. Phones, tv, gaming you name it.

I just don't care enough.

 

That initial bump is hard, but once you live about 5 years in the past life gets pretty cheap amirite?

The story and scenes were really great. I was hoping you were gonna get to fight Hitler in the end, but I guess they are saving that for the third one.

EDIT: What did you want people to do, message you to see if you can "certify" their creation is worthy of posting before sharing it? This community is NOT just for the "leet" forgers, but as far as I've been made to think, it's for all forgers.
