Man, I have absolutely no idea what the prefix CNC means, but everyone who posts a sample of their sigs uses it, so I guess I'll need it too. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler I know that most of them aren't superspectacular, but again, I'm looking for advice on how to improve. You'll notice that at first I liked simplicity, then tried more and more complicated things. And I ended up stopping my putting -CF, because it was just stupid and pompous.
Critique and Criticism is what CnC means, and the reason the tag is on there is to indicate you want feedback on your work. I am just on lunch break now, but I will try to get to feedback later...
I really like the concepts. Your execution isn't spectacular, and can be rather cheesy on several sigs, but I do like your ideas. I think your main problem is a lack of a focal. Often you have text splattered throughout the image which causes a split-focal effect. If you do add text, often the rule is to put it close to the focal. Other than tha, I'd suggest looking up tutorials or just experimenting with photoshop or whatever it is you're using so you can create more advanced effects and learn more about composition, color scheming, blending, etc. Good luck! PS your sig is amazing
/\ That for the most part. Of them, I think Evoke is actually the best executed. The ones which attempted to do the standard type of signature are most easily commented upon; Zombie one: Low quality and text disassociation are the main issues. Fire/Spartan one: Low quality, bad text and bad colours. Dull is your friend, bright and glaring are not. Legendary Warrior: I don't even know what I am looking at. The rest of them just sort of look amateurish due to their lack of focal and use of common fonts that aren't incredibly good (and the placement and size of them). (Reminder; I am very critical, not very praising, so don't take it as insulting or anything, I would give more direct and useful critique if it was just one or two sigs...) and at er1co hardy harr harr at the complementing him on your own signature.
