Hurricane Party

Hey everyone! Stepping in for the ForgeHub writers this week to bring you all the great content around the forging community. As some of you may be aware of, June 1st marks the beginning of the Hurricane season and for some of us, it means Hurricane parties! Enough about parties, let's storm into this week's update that I've prepared for you all.

Skynet is Now Online

As some of you have noticed a new color has been seen roaming around. This week we have brought on two members from the ForgeHub community to help where we needed it the most, member engagement and moderation. It's something that I've wanted to add to our team for a long time now. So stop by and welcome @Dunco / @Qrrbrbirbel as they join the ForgeHub team as moderators!

Everyday more and more awesome content gets created and it’s amazing what the community can do! Let’s take some time to highlight some of the latest and greatest from the past week.

Snowbound by Foge and Kabe

Without a doubt this has to be one of the best looking remakes that has been created in Halo 5 Forge. Both @Foge and @Kabe did a fantastic job at recreating (dare I say it) one of my favorite Halo 3 maps. What are you waiting for, go download it and see for yourself!

Hagore by Ryley

This map was recommended by a few members this week. This map has some intense vertical game play that makes this map unique in it's own. @Ryley themed this map off of a garbage disposal plant, that is layered it with 4 levels. It even comes with a garbage chute!

Giant Warthog by GreyMuffinBass

At first glance, you'll think to yourself that the image looks like just a normal picture of a UNSC Warthog. After few moments, you'll quickly realize that this Warthog wasn't developed by UNSC, but created in Forge by @GreyMuffinBass. This by far has to be one of the coolest creations in Halo 5 Forge. Just think back to what people used to make in Halo 3 and Halo Reach. Crazy how far Forge has progressed.

Community Spotlight - The Scripter's Guild

With the deput of Halo 5's Forge mode, came with a new variation to scripting in Forge, with that came along with those who really knew how to script in forge. These guys formed together from the ForgeHub forums before the massive scripting update that we received in the Monitor's Bounty overhaul and they continually are seen to be some of most helpful scripters in the Forge community. This has been a pleasure allowing me to step in and show you some of the neat stuff that's been happening around the community. @SIR IRON WOLF and I will be contributing more to this weekly update to talk about things that we have been working on behind the scenes.

Until then, stay positive and remember to support other community members when it matters the most. Even though we all share this collective space that we call ForgeHub, behind each forum post there is a person who may be visiting to get away from real life problems. No matter how much you may disagree with someone or how much that person may make you angry, remember this - We're all humans and we all have loved ones outside of this community. Some of us come to see the latest forge creations, some us share our latest creation and some of us support the community wherever it's needed. We have the ability to make the Forge community great and we can all start by reaching out to those who may never ask for help, by giving them a helping hand.
