I took this for Bungie's ODST contest. I looked through some of the ones already with the tags, and they all seem to fall under the "look how cool these guys look" category. I decided to go a different route in hope of catching someone's eye. This is a shot of an ODST trooper hopping out of a Pelican, and it looks as if he's got issues with his military garb. Bungie link
haha, nice but it's kind of hard to see exactly where his arm is.. it just kind of blends in a tad bit it's a kinda different angle to be going at this contest, but i've seen this approach. You may have to try harder if you want a better laugh. Just saying... so otherwise it's good.. 4.25675567/5 (lol)
Thank you very much for doing this. I, personally, have come to hate the "OMG COOL EFFECT" pictures and I love when someone actually creates a very simplistic and funny picture. This was very funny and I like the whole display of the picture (pose, background, etc.). I am very glad you decided to share this with us. Ahh, I see spam now LOL Lol it really looks like spam! No it wouldn't, I chose the best angle possible. I wanted that particular background, and any shot from the front shows the Battle Rifle being drawn, which actually looks like it's coming out of his chest. Thanks, man. I agree, the cool effect pictures are rapidly becoming annoying. I don't really like to make pictures where I'm posing, I just try and find something that stands out to me in an actual game. Sadly, this didn't get chosen as one of the prize winners, but it was still fun to play around with the ODST guys and see what they do.
