Hey all, this is my first map upload on here despite using these forums regularly for a long time. This map was designed to be competitive in nature, and playtests show that it is indeed a really fun map Team Slayer only (despite it's symmetrical nature, I decided against any objective modes for the time being. All playtests so far have been in a 2v2 environment, whilst it technically can support 12 players I haven't tested it yet. I was hesitant to put this up because there are a few known issues which I haven't worked out yet, but I was hoping for a pointer or two from the community before tweaking the map (the matches are so fun on there that modifying the core map elements without careful planning is something I'd like to avoid). It is a small-to-medium sized map, in my opinion. Two small and fairly open bases at either end, with sniper nests. Walkways connect the two bases, with power weapons in the middle. Three tiers which cross over eachother; a small dish basin set into the water at the bottom, a precarious platform in the middle, and a large walkway overhead (which is only accessible via mancannons at either base). From my playtests, some known issues include: - It can be too easy to fall into the water if you're not paying attention, especially behind the sniper nests at either end. - Spawn points can be disorientating occasionally. Things I was considering including: - More walls and windows/shields to break up sight-lines, although this doesn't seem to be much of an issue in 2v2. - A large and mostly covered walkway all-around the entire map, giving more access paths to either base and increasing the amount of surface area to play on. - A landing pad on either end with a banshee, although this is probably too much (especially given the 2v2 playtesting).
