Warfare 2052

    After playing a game of trench wars in Darth Human's lobby on Friday night, I was inspired to create my own. Warfare 2052 is made up of two bases, each with four vehicles, separated by three trenches, and two minefields. It also features an underground tunnel between the bases, so don't leave your base unattended in CTF and Assault; you never know when somebody's gonna sneak underneath your very feet, and pop up behind you for a surprise attack. In each base are two turrets, facing out of bunker-shaped windows, with sandbags around them. These babies will mow you down if you get close enough. Be sure to listen for landmines when walking through no-mans land, as there are eleven or twelve hidden in the ground. This makes it risky business to take a warthog through the battlefield, unless you think you've set them all off.

    Use of the custom gametype is HIGHLY recommended, but it works with most normal gametypes.

    Custom Gametype Settings:
    Score to Win: Unlimited
    Time Limit: 10 Minutes
    Capture Time: 10 Seconds
    Respawn Time: 10 Seconds (So you have time to choose a class)

    Classes:

    Recon
    -Magnum
    -Sprint
    -2 Frags


    Security
    -Shotgun
    -Armor Lock
    -No Grenades


    Stalker
    -Energy Sword
    -Active Camo
    -1 Plasma


    Grenadier
    -Assault Rifle
    -No Armor Ability
    -4 Frags and 4 Plasmas


    Medic
    -DMR
    -Drop Shield
    -No Grenades

    Nice Map. The bases look neat and simple. The trenches are smooth. The bridges help. I like that you included underground tunnels. But If you are driving over the trenches in a vehical can they make it across (with out the bridge)

    I know they can make it across the trenches, but if you're a bad driver you can get stuck. Thanks for the feedback.
    Also, I'm glad you tried it before commenting.

    Looks like a nearly flawless map my only concern is that there isn't many ways to get from each end to the other! And I don't think it should say that it's a remake ;)

    You're right. There aren't many ways to get to the other end. But what else would they have had in WWI? My bad - it's 2052.
    Well I wouldn't say that....
    I just noticed the gametype doesn't work.
    I will fix, make changes to the map, and upload ASAP.

    Nice! You added the mortar in. All you need to do now us change the gametype to disallow weapon pickup

    just played this actually like a day or two ago with you guys, aaand i like it. I WAS a little disappointed in the tunnels though... i quite liked Trench Warfare's awesome rock tunnels a lot, and think this would've benefited the map if you had enough money to do it. But it is pretty fun, nice job.

    To be honest, I wanted to make awesome tunnels, with more than one way to go, but I didn't have the budget.
    Oops, you mentioned the budget.

    I found the map was a little laggy with the fusion coils. Maybe direct them more to the center of the map.
