Due to some unprecedented popularity on b.net, I felt the necessity to preview the map I thought I'd never release on the boards.

So here's the link to my fileshare, which contains both the popular beta version and the completed version of the Achievement Horse Maze map.

The base map itself, Wander, is a labyrinth map designed to confuse the **** out of people. Each wall (or pieces that act as walls) is hand-placed to ensure every room looks identical, save the obvious things such as "dead-end" corridors and forge piece shadowing.

A view of the basic layout of the map, without the ceiling.

There are 24 rooms in total: 12 of which have pathways that lead to another room, and the other 12 have one pathway that leads to a "dead-end" corridor.

On the base map, each "dead-end" corridor has an invisible teleporter that brings players directly to the other side of the map.

    Enter here...

...exit there. No, it's not the same corridor. I'm not lying!

Originally designed for infection, the survivors would have no team waypoint and would have to wander around hoping to stumble upon a teammate before seeing a zombie. The teleporters ensured that even the "dead-ends" were not safe.

Achievement Horse Maze is a little side-project of the map, to satisfy the niggling "what-if" scenario in my head. What if there was an exit?

    Now there is.

But it doesn't come without traps. Less confusion now, but more deaths! Some of the teleporters have been replaced with a kill zone (the instant kind), and there's a kill ball on the loose!

This is the new and working kill ball cycler. Don't get caught!

Thanks to Crypto nv, broccollipie, and WWWilliam for diagnosing the original problem.

    It's coming...

    Just made it!

You'll notice it as soon as you see it, but that kill ball is really fast.

If you want to attempt to find the exit, you'll need these clues.
"Ceiling masters despise those who dare stand tall in their domain."
"The fruit of salvation lies near the path of freedom."

Enjoy, as some b.netters do for now. Maybe this'll inspire me to start/finish some other maps.
