This is the preview for my map, Wack a Mole. I'm sure this has already been done before, but ive put my spin on things and it's proven to be quite fun. The Map A small cave-like area with six holes where the "moles" will emerge from. A close-up of one of the holes The "Super-Mole" powerup spawn ( the gates have since been removed, due to making the powerup take longer to obtain and then in turn wastes the powerups 15 second span). And a Flare spawns one the opposite side of the powerup (not visible in picture). The Gametype Infection, Humans spawn with Gravity Hammers and normal shields. The zombies spawn with energy swords and slightly lower health. Well, that's what i've got so far, feel free to comment and give me some suggestions. P.S. Sorry about not taking the gloomy effect off, i completely forgot. Ill try to take some new pictures when i get the chance. Also if someone can PM me about how to do the download link correctly for a completed map it'd be appreicated.
...So, basically this? [ link ] I know you said you're adding "your own spin on it" which sounds like the custom powerup, other than that, it's basically the same thing with different weapons...
And a totally new map. What's the harm in that? Clearly that map looks cery well pollished and will apparently be getting more work done to it. Critising this guy for make a different Whack-a-Mole varient is like critising the person who made the second race map, and saying he copied the first person who made a race map. Who cares? It's a different using a fun gametype and a fun idea. Personally, I'd love to play this map. I can't wait.
I forgot to mention what the "Super Mole" powerup does. It gives one of the moles increased sheilds and speed for I believe 15 seconds. Also i'm working on making it impossible to camp the holes.
