Voisinage (Neighbourhood)

    Voisinage/Neighbourhood
    Story :
    Halo has a great community that often fight and reconcile, and what you think of a barbecue to reconcile enemies ?
    Yep, Apulet and Bontaigue are fighting at each other because of their too close location. And I think that they should better eat some steak together... =)

    I hesitate ( right word ?) a long time about posting or not this map on forge hub, I considers this place the very best of the forge and so I don't want to decrease the forum =). But after many of games asked by my friends or not I've decided myself to post

    Layout :
    This map is made as a two base map. The two bases are not face to face as it's often made, the two bases are side by side : only one door between them !
    It's based on a wall that separate the two side (which one can be passed over, one of the most important thing to know playing this map ). At the end on the wall is the portal with the Barbecue (wich is in fact flamethrower, very hard to understand xD) !

    The Apulet's base[​IMG]

    Is located just right to the Bontaigue's base[​IMG]

    but the only link between these two family is : The portal [​IMG]

    The portal is open ! The neighbour are gonna meet ! barbecue is begining (You can see some matchstick on the bridge, the big lighter is in front of these =D )

    The Apulet are going to ride near little ruine on the Prairie [​IMG]

    Whereas the Bontaigue will ride near Hill 31 [​IMG]



    TekTek Entreprise hope that your stay will be nice and gives you some "heavy weapons" that mean "strategic" :
    • 2 rocket launcher (1 in each base)
    • 2 Snipers (on the "touristic place")
    • 2 Bubble
    • 2 Regenators
    • 1 powerdrain
    • 1 flamethrower

    Every gametypes normally working, but flag or bomb are very cute

    well i can say it is nice but some interlocking looks louzy and its too open not enough cover the game doesnt sound fun but ill give you 2/5

    Tip: Turn Double Boxes upside. And well done.. you have provided this map with the worst background story I have ever seen. Is this meant to be competitive? Sorry, but terrible map 1/5

    kool looking map, i love the hill. i really like how you incorporated a story or sumthin along those lines into your post as you posted your pics and what not. it makes it look like a brochue of some sort.

    cleaner interlocking neccessary. and take off some power weps and equipment.

    well... a bit surprising... I know that the map is really not the best on the hub but the gameplay work on as on any good map. I dunno if you play the map or just look to the descritption but this is the first time I have this kind of commentaries...

    For the story, that's make me laughing to see 2 exactly different point of view, do you understand that the back story is only there for fun ..? That's not because of its story that a map can't be competitive =)

    The incrustating are not very smoothy that's right, I made this map about 4 months ago and use the first money glitch so I can't change them if I don't rebuild the whole map...

    At last, it has been a long asking how many equipements I put on... They seems to be too many but the map is made for 6 to 12 players and they have quite long respawn, they can be to much if you play less than 6 players that's right ^^

    I think this map still has a lot of work to be done before it will be ready... It is way too open and the lack of interlocking is =(. I think with a bit more work and some interlocking/geomerging this map could be great. As is, this seems like a mediocher map that still has a lot of cleaning up and work to be done...
