Villa Town is a map i made a week or so ago,and people said that it needs ground cover,to easy to get of,and others, and so,I'VE FIXED IT ALL!The map looks alright, but when you play it,its just really fun for some reason, its not the best forged,or best looking, but its just amazingly fun! Download:http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=20323483 Gametypes: Slayer CTF(what its made for) Infection Description: It starts with two main bases, and then one large 3 1/2-story building, and opposite to that is a simple 2-story building. Changes: Now impossible to get out of(to my knowledge) 2 more ammo depots Ground Cover added More explosives! Weapons: Bases have BRs,one has a sniper, other has rocks. Main building has Sword underground,BR on first,Sniper and 2smgs on second. Small side building has the only shotgun. Here is a total overview(before update) And here is the base not seen by the overview: And the main building: And of course, the new ground floor w/new cover: Now for some action pictures: I would have interlocked, but I didn't have any walls left. Please download, and remember, its better than it looks, trust me!
I may have to disagree a bit on its better than it looks. First of all if you run out of walls just interlock the walls you have left. Secondly it looks quite sloppy. Maybe fix it up a lot and read a few forging tips to make this map truly great.
Inter locking is needed, and in the last pic it looks like you can't get up the stairs because of the bridge.
You can get up the stairs. But I thing that you should just play it....Because its better than it looks....Anyways,its not like your ever NOT jumping when you play...or at least i don't....
I agree it looks ridiculously sloppy. But I guess I shouldn't say anything about gameplay until I try it. But visually, there are tons of places that could be better by better placement, if not interlocking. I'll Download it, but I'm gonna play it tonight, not right away.
when you say it plays good but doesn't look good just dl it means your saying the xbox might be in half and pieces but it works just buy it... you have good ideas but learn interlocking and neatness...
If I were you, I'd check out the forging 101 section in the forge discussion subforum. They have a lot of tutorials on interlocking and neatness...
In every picture I can find things wrong. Basically, make everything parallel and make objects flow into eachother
Ok,anyone actually played it?Because obviously there is no need for any more post saying its sloopy and such, since there is already 10 of the niw 14 posts saying that....
Yea your gonna need to interlock alot, and try flipping the crates over for smooth running, and same goes for the bridges, also, add some more cover in the middle right by the long bridge
