Even though it is forged on Orbital, its a very fun map.

That is the response I got from most of the people that played on v1. It had some flaws though. A couple of people found a way out of the map quite early on, so this has been fixed. The exploding barricade disappeared for a few seconds while it respawned, so people were using this to get out of the map. Now there are several immovable objects behind it. Escape is now impossible. I had one person suggest that the zombie teleporters be moved around corners, so that humans would not see them appear out of nowhere. This has been done.
    Here are the results:

The exploding barricade I mentioned earlier is purely aesthetic in purpose. It blocks off the exterior of the map with a wall constructed of generators and servers. In the beginning of every round, fusion coils explode behind the barricade, giving it a ruined and burnt appearance. This signifies the point at which the battle begins- the zombies have broken the barricade and entered the cargo hold!

    The barricade before the explosion:

    The barricade during the explosion:

    The barricade after the explosion:

The map is separated into four main parts: Cargo Hold, Central Area, Barricade Room, and Zombie Tunnel.

    Cargo Hold:
The main starting area for the humans. This place is filled with crates that form walls, pillers, and rooms. (they are not randomly placed- they offer safe places for the humans, and cover for the zombies)

    Cargo Hold:

Another look at the Cargo Hold:

The Central Area: There was also a change from the first version here, the bridge has been extended to reach all the way across the chasm, instead of relying on a grav lift.

The Barricade Room: This is different from the exploding barricade.

The Zombie Tunnel: Partially under the Cargo Hold, this tunnel is one of the entrances for zombies.

"The Zombie Crate", or "The Green Crate"
This phenomenon may be why the zombies are here in the first place...

The last man standing is going down... :(

The gametype itself is quite simple, the zombies are strong enough to survive 4-6 magnum headshots, or about 10-20 smg bullets. They are at 75% speed, and humans are at 90% speed, and the last man standing does extra damage, runs faster, and has a slightly increased damage resistance (this increases his chances of beating down a zombie when they lunge at him.) Ammo is limited!
Hope you enjoy! Constructive criticism is encouraged!

i loved the first version and this version is that much better im glad you took out the grav lift and extended the bridge im also glad you pulled back the zombie teleporters to down the hall it just give it more of a realistic feel. The gameplay is really fun and entertaining it is like you know you are going to die but you need to take as many zombies before letting that happen. everything is perfectly balanced anf though a little to realistic for some peoples taste it is in my opinion amazing 5/5 great work and i cant wait to see what you come up with in the future ;)

It looks very good and I like the fact that the zombies actually have a chance. Can you put stuff in the description about the gametype itself.

Info about the gametype is up. Also- You know you're cool if you can find all four zombie film references in the story in the main post...

Yes, but the reference I was making was to Johnny and Barbara, who are brother and sister in a much earlier zombie film.
