I played on this map. I really enjoyed the initial engagement on the top level and the spacing of pathways. The map looks pretty darn slick as well.
I think this map has some potential, but we ran into some serious issues when playtesting. Players were getting crossed from many different angles. My team was able to successfully block spawns and force the opposing team to spawn on rocket side, which has a low ground advantage and is very exposed. I believe we won 50 to 9. The lower levels of the map were pretty much completely neglected. I think that just a few minor changes would drastically improve the way the map plays and encourage use of the lower levels of the map. Any other issues that I had were small. For example... You should decide whether you want a ramp here or a wall, not a weird combination of both. The random glacier rocks that are placed around the map look really odd in contrast to the alpine objects. I think that using a mix of asteroid and glacier natural pieces instead would better fit the overall theme of the map.
Thanks Chan, I will definitely look into fixing the spawn trapping situation. I have had a blowout game on the map but we just chalked it up to unbalanced teams. The minor fix is an easy fix and for the glacier rocks, they were supposed to look like organisms but I could find a better looking piece to show that. Thanks again! I am glad to see that my map is getting around.
