I love the aesthetics of this map timmy.If the gameplay is half as good as the looks your on to a winner.I remember joining you when this map was in its first stages of creation and i thought it was going to be a race map.Nice work timmy
Outstanding job with both the map and the post. I know that it is a task on it's own to forge something, but it's all about going that extra mile and being able to "market" out your map to the views, much respect in that. I have always been intrigued by your use of objects to generate geometic shapes and figures. This is another example of what makes your work unique. From reading the write up for the map I agree, it is always easy to figure out where you are in the map. Both sides are very distinct from another. The overall theme feels like a power core room for some type of covenant vessel, if not even forerunner held under occupancy. Looking forward to upcoming maps. Cheers -Grim
Hello! Thanks for checking out my map! Your help is appreciated too! Yeah it was right in the begining when you seen the map being forged! It has come a long way since then. I remade taking lots of weapons away! I have been learning about fair weapon placement and not balancing power weapons with other power weapons so this does play well. Testing went well and many have enjoyed the map! Although it has not been as popular as some of my crazy maps this is probably the best competitive map I have made...so far! This probably is the most competitive of the maps I have made and seemed to fit together well. This map was mainly about the colouring for me, I like how the objects all have shadow in here (collouseum) and they look well. I feel I achieved what I set out to do with this map. As for upcoming maps, the most recent works on invasion and now slayer but unfortunitly it is far to difficult. I really need some die hard halo players to take this next map on. but so far everyone who has seen it has said wow about some part or another but on 8 v 8 neither team managed to finish. If i manage to get it playable without being to difficult it should be out very shortly. Your sig is awesome!
Awesome map timmy. Did you get those FFA spawns fixed? The game we had was great, and I won lol, but I also had another go on later with some more mates that also dug it . Good work again!
Thanks buddy! Yeah the ffa didnt sound like it went well . I personally didnt spawn too close to anyone bit it was my fault as I didnt set the game up right. I have the map set out with 8 teams of 2 so it works well as individual teams but I understand that for ffa the spawning needs work. Only played teams on testing or 4 players ffa and wasnt any problems. Thanks for advice and help.
