I have this map I'm working on, code-named 'Hakuma Matata' out of fear of someone stealing my awesomely awesome name I have for it. I kinda have this idea to make it a CQB EVA map, or whatever. But I've been noticing most of these maps aren't too great based on comments (except maybe Inside Track). I have two tradeoffs: 1. Vehicles own players in open areas. 2. Players own vehicles in tight areas. Basically, my map has a low, one-box-high dividing wall that ends with a semi-wide opening at the end, farthest away from the window offices. There are holes in this wall with shield doors acting as an airlock of sort. On each side, there are mini-buildings that have a sniper on the bottom floor, a turret on the top floor, and a bridge to the wall on the second floor. This lets players, and vehicles, get on top of the wall, where there might be some goodies. Then I don't know what else to put. I need some device of sorts that allows me to have a balance of vehicle-vehicle combat, player-player combat, and vehicle-player combat. Any ideas?
1 - What map is this on? You never specified, although the default assumption is Foundry. 2 - What vehicles are you putting on the map? 3 - What anti-vehicle resources will you put that humans can use? Try to be more specific. And posting screenshots of your map would help tons.
I'm using Foundry, classically. For vehicles, only Mongeese and Warthogs. Anti-vehicle resources is what I'm wondering about. I'm thinking shield doors, power drains, a single splazer, scenery like crates, barrels, and wirespools, and walls (thank god warthogs can't jump). I guess I could post screenies later. I'll take some pics then.
