How many lights do you have? I will download it and look at it later. Do not replace blocks that wont help anything and is not the reason for the fps drop EVER. Turn decorators off, if you spammed red lights that is probably the reason for lag. I will try to tell you the core problem when I can. So far it looks nice, I would use some block textures (this wont make the fps drop) though I like the atmosphere so far. Worst case scenario the map is having an odd bug and you can just make the whole map a prefab after the next update and fix it.
Your fram-rape problems are due to object counts. Right now with the system, a lot of maps are suffering, even maps that are below 1024.
The heart as the central location is an awesome looking theme and the details around the map look really good too! The lights should be reduced if possible and that will help immensely. The primitive blocks vs the detailed blocks will help, but only very slightly... Changing the blocks out will allow you to reduce the object count hopefully by using less pieces in each area if possible.
Just checked it out, due to the way things load it may lag when a high amount of objects are in view, the second I deleted all the small pipes the issue was gone. You exaggerated the frame rate a bit unless you just fixed it, it occasionally drops to 30 for me but it isn't that horrible, I would recommend using larger pipes that connect to the heart.
Honestly I might just make a version where I delete enough objects to fix the frame rate because switching the smaller cylinders to larger ones will look odd. It would throw the proportion of the heart off but thanks or the advice.

I kind of liked the feeling of being in a space station/ship (or what ever it was), but im guessing you made it open to outside light for frame rate issues?
I totally agree with you and yes the look is changed because of frame rate issues. It was a sacrifice needed to allow the map to be playable. The first version was my desired look and I still have it saved but I guess it will just sit as an aesthetic map.
I have a feeling the next forge update will optimize everything and people will be frantically updating their maps all at once.
The screenshots intrigued me so I decided to give the map a look in Forge. So far, I only have one comment. Make the death pits more obvious. Right now, they just look like standard terrain pieces that aren't even that far down. Either change what they look like(Turn them into lava or pools of blood. Something like that) or lower them much farther. You could even put some mist and whatnot if the terrain's low enough. Might affect the framerate though so just watch out for that. I'll load the map up in my next testing lobby. Any issues I find, I'll comment here
