Vacillation Like my other map, Claustrophobia, the name of this map has a meaning. Vacillation means to be in a state of hesitation, or wait for a period of time. This plays a main role in the game. This map was created for team games, because of its 2-sided design. In my opinion, the best gametype for this is Capture the Flag. Team SWAT, slayer, and assault also work well. IMPORTANT: Bridge spawns after 60 seconds, creating a temporary standstill of action, hence the name. Players should know this before they play instead of jumping right into the pit of fusion coils. Also, the map IS escapable, because of the fusion coils. Putting barriers on top would mean doming the whole map. There ARE many teleporters on the outside to get back into the map. Overview(yes, the map really is that small) Turret at one base Sniper at same base(plus a flare) Reason why no one goes into the fusion coil pit... A way around for all of those impatient people(jumping skillz required) Turret at other base(plus a dead body!) Spike grenade(at each base, don't worry) Finally, the bridge arrives! This definitely a problem with Forge Hub, I don't the members can read. If you read the paragraph in RED, you would know the reason for that
The problem with it being easy to get put of is that people may purposely escape to be brought back into the map giving them an unfair advantage. I would make a V2 were you do dome the map using the Money glitch. If you already used the money glitch in making the map then try to merge the main level with the ground floor to make it lower so it is harder to escape. Happy forging
The map I think is very very very very small.I think to small to even play like a real game,maybe just like a plasma pistol game where you only beat down?The interlocking is immensley neat and good.My suggestions are just to make the map bigger or add another floor. But seeeing the interlocking proves to me that you should keep making more maps because I bet they would come out really good.
this map does look small and oly good for 1v1 or 2v2. One suggestion is to add stuff out side the map to play on and have the original map as a centerpiece. Just a suggestion.
