Using Haloscreenshots.com is arguably easier to post pictures than the bungie.net-photobucket method, and I use it all the time, so I decided to make a little tutorial. The first step is obviously to take a screenshot in Halo 3. Make sure its not a Forge screenshot if you're posting a map; people usually don't wanna see spawn points or the grid. Step 2: go to www.haloscreenshots.net Step 3: Enter your gamertag Step 4: Click on a picture you want to put in your post Step 5: Click on the red "Copy" button right to the "BB code" designed for websites like Forgehub Step 6: Press Ctrl+v on your Forgehub post, add anything else, and submit the thread. NOTE: the code is already in Image format, so do not put it in brackets. You're done! Enjoy your pictures!
or you could see the full size image and put the url of the full size image in tags... Good tut though... Sticky
That's just the img code so pics are embedded in your thread Like if you want to embed this pic the code markup for it would be... {IMG}http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e8/Svg_example3.svg/467px-Svg_example3.svg.png{/IMG} with the {'s being ['s. Hope that made sense.
Nice tutorial, but LIGHTSOUT posted a tutorial already in the announcement a week ago. Here I'm sure it will be helpful however.
Oh wow I feel stupid now haha! I guess this'll be the Mac version Thanks for the explanation Ace. Can a mod sticky this in the Halo Forge Maps threads at all?
