*UpdatedCreated by ER1C0 ~General Info: Vicious predator aliens have struck chaos in Crumbleville. Use with "Silent" gametypes. 6-16 players Base: Foundry ~Supported Gametypes: Infection Custom Gametype(s) ~Story: One of my friends wanted me to make a good Avp map and so I brainstormed the idea for a while until I played a custom infection game called Predator, where there was one zombie who tried to mess around with the humans. I thought that the map was REALLY fun, so I decided to make a Predator map with basically the same game variant, but with a few added tweaks. So I did all of that and this is how it turned out. ~Description: ~Game Variants Descriptions: ~"Silent (1)" Description: -one predator -has good camo -has low gravity -has sword -has spartan laser ~"Silent (2)" Description: -two predators -have good camo -have low gravity -have swords -no spartan lasers ~Humans: -have no camo -have normal gravity -have assault rifles -have shotguns -have waypoints over their heads I have tested these games and they work out. There are some smaller settings like shields and things which equal the game play out. ~Map Description: The whole map is based on an urban town named Crumbleville, which recently has been terrorized by predator aliens. Also, the map was made to have no dead ends... there are a few corners you can hide in, but the predators have camo, so watch out. AND also, the map is made to be a town called Crumbleville, that's why there are so many destroyable objects. ~Forging 101: [ YES ] __Floating Objects [ YES ] __Instant Respawn [ YES ] __Immovable Objects [ ___ ] __Timed Map Events [ YES ] __Effective Spawn Placement [ ___ ] __Gravity Lift Techniques [ ___ ] __Objects Placed in Water [ ___ ] __Used Symmetry Option [ YES ] __Interlocking Objects [ YES ] __Objects Merged with Map Geometry [ YES ] __Unlimited Budget Glitch . The map includes... well, I'll need pictures for that: ~Pictures: A flattened cylindrical picture which has the house in the far right, the courtyard in the foreground, a tunnel to the left, and smaller details furthermore explained below (sorry about the Autodesk things, but I didn't know how else to make this) The house (corner view from left) The house (corner view from right). Here you can see the crash scene The downstairs of the house The second floor (with several walls removed) The Courtyard The courtyard with the small tunnel in the background Hiding zone (located left of the house) An unprepared human getting RAPED Another unprepared human gets PWNED Finally, the predator is caught . ~Tips: All around: -Everyone has one life, so use it wisely -It's best to work as a group Predators: -The spartan lasers do help in some situations... but be cautious -Guerrilla warfare is the best way to go -Have a little fun, mess around with the humans Humans: -Assault rifle ammo surprisingly runs out fast -It's better to keep using ammo, especially with the shotgun -Keep on the lookout, a predator might be right behind you . *EDIT* Only one gametype is up right now Download Urban Predators Download Silent (1) Download Silent (2) A side note: Almost everything is merged... the things that aren't merged are the things that are on top of each other... so nearly everything that are side to side are merged... and also, every door and window panel is merged... I promise you that... AND some things are meant not to be merged, like the gateway to the house... so don't say I didn't merge, I spent about a month making, testing and posting... and the pics and vids took extra time
OMG, I wish bungie was working and i hadn't already maxed out my ten downloads... this looks like a 5/5 to me, I love predator when the predator isnt stupid and just dies straight away. Love it... not all the pictures are working for me though...
This seems like a much better map to use for predator, I was always a big fan of it. It has so many places for the zombie to hide and get its prey. I just can't wait to play it!
Thx, dang it... why aren't the pics working? I've used this method for over 5 months... I even converted them to photobucket!!! I'll try to get them up, but that's no guarantee.
They are all working now, dont know wha you did but it worked. Still is anyone esle getting the problem bungie.net isnt loading? I think it was mainternace, but my screenshots wouldnt upload so my map is picture less... but that because bungie screenshots are down at the moment... sigh. Love the map anyway looking at all the screenshots, cant wait to play it with some non-idiots.
Some things could have been merged, but it doesn't really matter. 5/5 for overall design, excellent job. Been looking for another predator map for a long time.
Didn't you look at the screenshots? loads of the map was merged, if merged is what i think it is, like objects inside other objects...
Again, there are two gametypes for a reason. If you think you're a pro then you'll probly use the Silent (1) or if you think u need a little help then you'll use the other one. I've tested these, they work out... don't worry
i love the one life idea but if the last humans hiding it gets kinda boring for the dead people anyway nice map looks like you spent some time on it 4.5/5
looks like a awesome infection map. The interlocking looks good all around and so does the geomerging. Also there is a lot of cover so that is good for hiding and stuff. The gametype would have me on the edge of my seat with the zombies. Great, Great Job Dude! Definite Download for me
I see Excellent structures, origonaliity and theming on the map. You really transformed foundry. Excellent interlocking and geoglitching particulary on the stairs. That is very impressive. When Bungie gets back online I am definately downloading this one. It is a great map in its own unique way.
Thanks for fixing the pictures, man. Anywho, this map makes me want to play a gametype I absolutely abhor, Predator. I have never liked any version of Predators or AVP, but this one looks awesome, good job 4.5/5, it might work even better with some standard types of infection.
this looks amazingg i like how you've included the outside and everything, thats waht really got me. Im glad that you've actually made the map well, not just another shitty attempt, good job!
