Look, its great and all but the older one had a little more cleanliness to it. Try doing it at a different location (recommend western part of the island next to the cave so you can get the same thing.) But other than that, great rmke
yeah, most of it is great, but there are a few issues. 1st, some of the buildings look way too big (either that or the pics were taken from diffrent distances). 2, the corner area with the sandbags looks too small and sloppy. i remember how it used to be a hill of sorts on the back, while the front is just a big wall of rocks. no sandbags in there. 3, the broken bridge is too small. i dont mean the height or width or anything, but i mean that it ends too fast. in halo 2, you were able to jump to the middle from the left side of the bridge (perspective from the overviews), but in this, it looks as if you only could with jetpacks, ruining the feel of the bridge. if you have any budget, fix the last one. also, for the corner, dont add on to it, just completely replace it with rocks. and if im right about the building size, then see if you can fix it. even though this has a few issues, it is really hard to remake a map like this, and you have done it pretty well. good job. =) 7 or 8 out of 10.
The download link isn't working . Uplift was one of my favorite maps from Halo 2 Vista. That aside, I like the location you put it in, and how you tried to incorporate the environement, instead of making it a grayfest. It looks pretty good the way it is, but maybe you could try adding more aesthetics to the beachside, such as maybe a dug in structure (playable or not is your descision). I just think it's missing something.
