Foreword Hey there guys! As you can see, I'm new here at Forge Hub and am glad to be here. Foremost, Unreal Engine 4 is the next generation engine designed by EPIC. Before creating this thread, I used the search bar and could not find a thread on this. Without further adieu, I listed some videos and links for you. I just wanted to see your impressions and thoughts. There's already a thread for this, here. Don't worry about it, because you're new, but you can use that nifty "Search" feature to check and see if the information or topic you're posting has already been put out there.
The fact that you can play while you're compiling amazes me. The graphics improved quite a bit but it's not as big of a leap from it's last iteration. Then again, I don't model that often and am not as conscientious of polys as I should be. I'm really excited for this though, it makes me wanna make my own Arma II Z-Day game. Haha. EDIT: I guess there is another thread. RST, he said that he did search though. I still don't know how to work the damn thing properly though.
Yeah, the search thing really doesn't work that well, but if you put what you're searching for something and you put it in quotes like "Unreal Engine 4" it should mostly only bring up the specific phrase you're searching for.
I've been wondering when the Unreal Development Kit will be made to work with the new engine, as that is what I use now. And does anyone know if UDK will ever gain Mac support, as now you can make games for iOS but you can't use the program without going through Boot Camp first.
