Cryptic Desideratum Hey all, this is my first large-scale map on Reach, and I took on a doozy. The premise is a full invasion of the island on Forge-World, and I have it nearly complete. Below are some screenies of what I have done. Overview/Loadout Shot Beach Side of Bridge w/ Shield (Shield is Gated after 1st Round) One Elite Spawn Area w/ Revenant and Bomb Spawn Another Elite Spawn w/ Banshee Island End of Bridge -- Bomb Target on Bottom, Territory for R2 on Top One of the Upper Island Overlooks (Another Territory in R2) Snipe Platform (Also a Territory in R2) Back Base for R3 (Core Capture) Behind View of Back Base What I need from you, the readers: 1) Help with finishing physical touches (possible man-cannons, teleporters, and a few more structures). 2) Help with weapon and spawn placement (already have a general idea, I just need someone who really knows their stuff to help out). 3) Immense play-testing. 4) Criticism. If requested, I can post the unfinished map on my fileshare for you to look at.
Oh, and I forgot two things. I will be adding a "Next Gen" fx after I'm done building. (It's just easier to see while building and for screenshots w/o it.) EDIT: Next Gen AND Purple fx, to create a night effect.
Actually, could a mod change the title of this thread to "Cryptic Desideratum" (without the quotations)? I've decided to make that the map title.
