Best voice I've heard in years--quite reminiscent of Jeff Buckley. Every note is filled with so much emotion. Interesting quote about musicians and mysticism: "The musician is very close to mysticism, far closer than the philosopher...because music is meaningful without any words; it is meaningful simply because it rings some bells in your heart..creates a synchronicity between you and itself, when your heart starts resonating in the same way, when you start pulsating in the same way" -Osho A few more of my favorites:
One of my favorite battle OSTs. Another's Opening is so catchy and addicting. Mr Adam will always be one of my favorite Armored Core OSTs. Hell March is simply too awesome. I love it. Excellent when playing an RTS game.
Im not sure if this is just them riffing at their show, but I'm dying for the new album. It's been ten long years. It doesn't get any better than this I heard they are working on a couple new videos for their album. I hope they are on par with what they have done in the past.
Yeah, I'm not a huge Pucifer fan. Maynard seems focused on everything but TOOL. I heard that he doesn't even write most of the stuff with the band anymore. They just send him the music and he writes the lyrics in. Anyway, I know what they are working on now probably wont live up to the hype, but I'm still exited for it. I remember listening to Lateralus in HS while dropping and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. That album is designed to **** with you when you are tripping.
I don't typically have a favourite band or genre. If it's not slow, sad, indie/bluegrass, or (*new) country I will give it a shot. Of course there are exceptions to most rules. Here are some of my favourites that stood the test of time on my Good Music playlist. I usually listen to 70's/80's rock on the radio when I drive, or EDM (House/Electric/Trap [the non-grunge types]), or whatever other people are listening too. Your Secret, a tastemaker label of Artist Intelligence Agency is my new favourite place to find gold. I have not disliked a track posted since I discovered it.
I like atmospheric stuff so I heard the remedy as was like this is a pretty cool song. Went and listened to the rest and didn't really care for it. I was never a big fan of tool, but I am from an area with a bunch of tool fans. I always liked more then the other **** they would play on the radio.
