For anyone (and I doubt there really is anyone) who has played Bayonetta you will be familiar with Fly Me to the Moon as made famous by Frank Sinatra. It's a really good song in my opinion, it's not the type of music you hear every day. Here are two versions. The quiet sort of calm version YouTube- Bayonetta Pole Dancing ending (fly me to the moon) The upbeat version YouTube- Bayonetta - Fly Me To The Moon (Climax)
I could write a seriously long rant even by my standards about why I love Plastic Beach so very much, but I'm on my iPhone and screw typing that out on this keyboard . As for not having a standout, I personally think of Superfast Jellyfish as the best standalone tune on the album, but it's not a standout track in the way Feel Good Inc. was, representative of the album and whatnot as well, so I guess I can kinda see where you're coming from. Still, I think Stylo was a good choice of first single just like Feel Good Inc., kinda emblematic of the album in many ways. As a whole though, I just love that album, over 200 plays from it on last.fm within a week of getting it. Such weird and diverse snatches of musical styling put together in a way which just totally draws me in, and the balance and use of these stylings within the greater whole is just bang on for me. I loved Demon Days too, one of my favourite albums of all time, which made me really worried about a followup at the same time as wanting nothing other than just that. Plastic Beach laid those concerns to rest by the second listen, and within a week I'd decided that I like it better than Demon Days. Tbh what I'd really like to see is a collab with Supergrass, or at least Gaz. But anyway, like I said, I could go on and on and on, but it pretty much all equates to: get it, get it now.
YouTube- Broken Bells - The Ghost Inside (Live at The Boat) Huge into Broken Bells now I heard about them back in September and they were always on my "to do" list to listen to, finally got a chance to pick up their album and I'm in love.
If you listen, its pretty obvious he is using Fedde Le Grand's beat, from "Put your hands up for Detroit". Decent mix tho, thanks for the share <3 Oh yeah; YouTube- Bring Me The Horizon - Suicide Season

I don't know if we have any Vampire Weekend fans in here, but I was in a super VW mode, probably the nice weather, they seem to be synonymous I don't know if this was posted in here last month, or what, but either way, here's their video for Giving Up the Gun with a member from everyone's favorite music group, THE JONAS BROTHERS. Baker Street Remix, I'm a bit of a techno fan and I love the original song, so this was great. YouTube- Michael Mind - Baker Street (Official Video HQ)
