***I forgot to add that this map is not as large as most others, it plays well for most small gametypes such as 1v1, 2v2, etc. we have not tried singe bomb, but it could be very interesting if you put the planting time to somewhere around 15seconds.****

The general basis of this map is a big V shaped platform all slanting into the center where a carbine, and active camo are located,
On the side of the map is a shotgun tunnel. You may think "camp fest" but the shield door has been strategically placed allowing gernades to go below and on the side of it.

I know most of you have stopped reading this already so lets just get to the screenies

PICTURE DESCRIPTIONS ARE BELOW THE PICTURES

Here we can see an overview of the entire map, not including the tunnel*
as you can see, there are some small sniper towers.

    This is the shotgun tunnel

Me Pwnig my friend, who was a really really big help in
creating this map, i give credit to "dodfrontlines11"

On each side, a set of spikers are available, on this small map, these weapons may be the greatest of your worries

A long battle was fought, and of course, i won :)

Active camo is placed inside the open box in the middle of the map, these boxes are pushed down to make a cleaner running surface

This is my first post, so please comment, i know this map can be broken, and we are currently looking to make a version 2

THank you for interlocking, it shows that you tried hard and put lots of work into the map, but when you interlock, try to only interlock the edges together, and just barely seal the cracks, otherwise you get nasty looking overlaps that look un-natural and hasty. Its a great map to be making early on, but it wont hit my 95+ custom items on the hardrive. Maybe a spiritual successor you make over a long time coming?

// Trying to line up the lines on the undersides of the box also looks nice to the eye. Gameplay is great once it gets on the harddrive, but unfourtanetly it wont be on the harddrive unless you make it pleasing to the eye. The only way to get downloads is by astetics alone.

I agree with what most of scar said

And the hills IMO look pretty good

But you said it was meant to look like it was thrown together? Why?

Never try to make your map look worse than you could

And why did you not make it completely impossible to get out of the map.

But I have to say that the overall layout of the map is great and I would love a do-over if you want to spend that time. Useing all the good suggestions that scar said

Pretty nice looking map. Good use of interlocking. Looks like it would be fun for almost all small games. It seems to play nice and the game dynamics are spot on. Good job and keep the good forgery creations coming.

As you said, a bit of bumps here and there, but this map has some potential for a mini game, it would be awesome if the mini game would be well though out to fir this map.
As for the map, I think it's pretty clean, I'll be trying out soon.

love the map, but perhaps the "valley" could use some more cover.
I like designs like this... the smooth valley of boxes.
very good from the screens, 4.3/5

I'm making a map that looks somewhat similar to this...
    Somewhat.

And its been close to completion since about April or May, I just haven't really gotten around to it.

So when you see "Threshold" on the Competitive Map Forum, you'll know I finally took the time to finish it.

    The map looks good.

I'll probably download when I clear some space and give you a real review.
