UNCONQUERED Download BETA Unconquered is a map that is inspired by the layouts of Halo 1 maps. It was built using pieces that presents a lag free classic gameplay experience. INSTANT BETA DOWNLOAD!!! /re-tard moment Seriously this looks stunning. You have captured the forerunner style amazingly well and created with that a map that looks like it will play extremely well. Yeah like cryppy said, it looks good and the gameplay seems to match this. However I just can't help thinking that I had seen it all before. I admire you going for a halo ce feel but theres nothing distinctive that jumps out at me. But thats me being really harsh, so I promise I'll give it a download when you release it and see how it plays because I'm sure that will make up for the generic aesthetics.
^ as above, this looks like something I really would enjoy. I prefer the maps that try to capture the roots of halo a lot more than the ones that don't. The gameplay looks like it'll play really well too so like they both said, I look forward to the release
This looks really good, very forerunner-esque. My only complaint is with the pieces you've chosen. Some just seem to not go with the flow of the map. But other than that, good looking map.
Thanks Crippy! Your reaction is definitely appreciated I worked really hard to bring back a classic feel and breathe new life into it. I understand what you are saying but I honestly wasn't going for a brand new visual style. This map is designed for matchmaking standards, as a way to push myself and encourage others to start forging maps that 'feel' like Halo Maps. Most of the maps currently in matchmaking are good but don't feel like a Halo style map. Other works I've done lean towards the aesthetic side (Examples include Illyria and Rhem) So this is a new direction for me. I still tried to give the map aesthetic touches to set it apart, I think a good example is the doorways I used. Thanks Stevo! That means a lot coming from you. Oh I remember this one. the map was pretty fun, and did capture the classic feel to an extent. Your video has some wierd editing in it, but is still good. I gotta say i like that song too. Anyways, good job. i'd be up for playing this again sometime.
