Uncommon Valor Uncommon valor: a common virtue Hello everyone. This is my third map post, I'm posting this as apposed to other projects over the past year because I'd say this is certainly my best so far. Uncommon Valor is a small team-game based map. With 30+ hours of work, I'd say this is ready to be posted. Recommended gametypes: Team Slayer, Multi-Flag, One Flag, Assault, One Bomb, Neutral Bomb Weapons: Assault Rifle x2 Battle Rifle x4 Shotgun x1 Sniper Rifle x1 Frag Grenade x4 Plasma Grenade x6 Map Pictures Attacker Spawn Defender Spawn The "Arm" that leads from defenders' spawn to sniper spawn Sniper Spawn Attackers man-cannon to sniper spawn Shotty Spawn The High Nook The low nook Overview (as best as I could get it) Action Shots Sniped! For the motherland! This ended up in a double beat down This mai skull. Notes: It's funny. When I was finally completed with construction earlier this month, I realized that I had no ****ing idea how to do spawn properly. Enter chipsinabox. I did basic spawn locations, and he did respawn areas and fixed bad spawns that I had laid down. I now know my spawns. Alright NYYanks you do not need geomerging for a good map. This is a perfect example, it has all the qualities of a great map, and it also looks as if it has really nice game play with a giant walkway on the bottom level. I don't know if you were going for that but if you were very nice job. Looks like some terrific interlocking and everything looks extremely smooth. 5/5 Awesome job

When I said no geomerging I never said that was bad. Thats good in a way. I just said that there wasnt any.
Well, I can't really see the full story from the pictures, plus I think the thread could have been presented better. But I like how you put the stairs inside a double box, that's creative. I really don't think a so so foundry is going to get you much attention because of all the sandbox chatter. Just being honest. What you need to do is go for shock and awe. From the pics. 3/5.
I started out looking at the first screenshot and I though hmm this maps looks odd... Then I continued through the screenshots and I thought this map looks simply amazing. I loved the low nook. When I get my xbox back I'll have to download this.
I understand your point, corruption, but others seem to understand what the map is like just fine. Sorry, but I'm not changing my post to make one person out five happy. Also, I wasn't going for shock and awe, I was going for looks and playability. That's what matters more. I do hope you play soon, Shiero, I would like to hear what you think from playing it and not just looking at it, as well.
