Un-named Conquest Map

    Hai thur, Forgehub. Recently, I've gotten into forging again, and I've made a little sketch of a Conquest map. I haven't actually started forging it yet.

    Sorry for the suckish quality of the sketch, I don't have a scanner. The red areas are the territories. Areas with an arrow show changes in elevation. But ya... I think the map has an original design.

    Here it is: [and note, it is all supposed to be symmetrical, I just suck at drawing :p]

    What are your thoughts? Is it worth taking the time to make this map? Do you think it would stand out from other Conquest maps? Anything else [constructive criticism, map name, weapon layout] would be appreciated.

    Maybe u would liek to help forging cuz I fail at forgin? This would be my first major project [interlockz0rs galore].

    Nice and Simple layout.
    I was thinking maybe A shotgun or rocketlauncher in the middle in Territory 3.
    And you should implement lots of PR spikers and smg's.

    Thats my preference GL on the map

    Doesn't look like it has any standout features or anything. Try to do something new, almost all conquest maps seem the same to me. People are just adding aesthetics to make the maps look amazing but the layouts are not unique at all.

    i'm pretty sure both the weapons you suggested aren't allowed in conquest. they're both too overpowering. but yeah, there will be a 'centerpoint weapon'- perhaps a mauler or sniper/carbine/br.

    as far as dual-wieldable weapons, they're pretty much required for a conquest map. but thanks for the thought.

    Who cares what the "standards" are do what you want to do and make it work.

    yeh, but i like the layout of this map, and the layout isn't extremely stereotypical [the 's' design or the curvy-line design are annoyingly common]. maybe i could scratch the idea of a grass-themed center [grass in general is generic] and make it a hill-type thing [you could run straight through the lower level of the map or go up a ramp and try to capture territory 3]. i dunno, i guess conquest maps are all supposed to be similar.

    but i really am trying to think of something unique for this map. maybe i could redo the layout entirely.

    sure, but it might interfere with how fun gameplay is.

    idfk, i didn't even start forging yet. ill worry about the layout and gameplay after making the map.

    Well, seems like a conquest map I saw on Assembly and Foundry. It was amazing on Assembly, due to the fact of it being meant only for gameplay, not forging. I'd say once people start visiting that map again, this map may be in a losing competition.
