you just spawn trap people and whoever has better aim wins, so doing that enough helps, but i mean nobody cares about h5 anyway so it doesnt matter
it matters because this guy took the time to make a map and post it here. he should at least get relevant feedback other than stating that the map is irrelevant. in my opinion this is nice because it is an octagon that is not that very boring looking AHP or whatever it's called that everyone seems to prefer juts because it was probably put out very early in forge's lifespan and was "first". Kudos to the author for caring enough to make this one better than that other one..
Why are you so ready to defend someone? I wasn't taking about his map specifically being irrelevant, I was stating that warming up before games in Halo 5 doesn't matter since the game is pretty much dead, I think the map looks pretty cool, it's an interesting theme, I never said anything about the map itself, but clearly that went over your head
nah, the fact that you are very quick to put dismissive comments on (posts about the) work of others, has definitely not gone over my head. The fact tha tyou put it on a dude's map thread and not on another one speaks volumes. You like making people feel little.
You're looking too deeply into it, I pointed out that h5 multiplayer is dead for the thousandth time, and that warming up using an octagon to do so isn't really necessary in my opinion at this point in the game's life cycle, what I didn't say is how I think octagons can be fun to just endlessly kill eachother, but warming up with them probably won't happen much at his point in the h5 life cycle, but you wrongly assumed that I wanted to degrade the author's work (which isn't even something that crossed my mind) because you wanted to... what? Swoop in and save the day?
whats up guys, thanks for the responses man, any response is appreciated, so thanks. also for the warming up part, you just hop in for a min or two just to get your aim straight then hop out, its never really to sit there and see who gets the most kills, maybe other people use it to try and win, but for me it was just built to warm up , get your shots straight then jump in multiplayer, and yes i do agree that halo 5 player count has gone down a bit, but that happens to the best of all games as the game is out for a few years, also ima big MMA fan so i thought it would be cool to do an actual mma octagon loll i made a quick game mode to go along with the UFC theme in case people wanted to use it other than warming up your shots, played a few games on it last night and it was alot of fun! "Fight Night" Thanks again for the response guys, can't wait for Halo 6 forge!!! loll
right on, yes while player population is lower, some people are playing it and they often do use a warmup mechanism of some kind. Whether that be social, warzone, or an octagon.
