Ty's Challenge 1 Created by Tylyr1 Supported Gametypes: Use the gametype I give you. Map Description These maps are not the tough, but they do require some skill. These were my first maps that I made that I used the Unlimited Money glitch, so they might be a little sloppy, but not too bad. They all consist of puzzles, jump challenges, mazes and more. I'm going to limit each map to three pics each, just to save some room. Now, on to the pics!!! Not going to show all the rooms, but here is the first one. I know everyone hates choosing teleporters, but don worry, its k... It is really easier then it looks. Here is a room with a create, a battle rifle and a mongoose. _________________________________________________ Ty's Challenge 2 Supported Gametypes: Use with the same one that is used with Challenge 1. This is the main room, you will be seeing this a lot. Man, how am I supposed to get pass those teleporters? Wow, this looks tough. _________________________________________________ Ty's Challenge 3 Supported Gametypes: Same gametype as 1 and 2. The main room, you will be here a lot. Kind of looks like your room. Choose a teleporter again??? Don't worry, I'm not going to leave you sitting with no clues. _________________________________________________ That is it for the Challenge Map Pack, hope you download and have fun. you should be putting like 6 or 8 pics on those maps unless that is the entire map because there will probably be people who will think that that is the entire map and say that your map sucks
wow i hate people that think like that. They think that puzzle maps need to be neat and tidy. I personally didn't see anything untidy. Anywho, the best puzzle maps are the ones that don't need to be tidy cause you're there for the challenges--not the aesthetics. But I like how you packaged them together so that you didn't have to do a killer and too-large map altogether. I might try it now but I just bought the leg. map pack so I can't play till later. Much later
Silent oo death thank god someone else agrees with me... check this out http://www.forgehub.com/forum/mini-game-maps/25835-crazy-maze.html anyways, Tylyr1 Ima definitely try these out they look great. And three of them should keep me busy!
Ill have to agree with extremekablooie... Your just saying you hate neatnesss because it's a rather tedious job, and I only Q, top quality maps, and that just might be me, but I look for neat maps that are interlocked. And it's clear that your just lazy since interlocking won't effect anything at all from what I saw in the pics. Also with no interlocking I feel like you just threw random objects, called it a map, and expect me to download it... Clearly you do not mean that but that is how I think about it...
Looks like you took some time on this, which is really great, most just throw things together for maze maps. Good Job, I'll give it a try.
I think your missing what we are trying to say. We don't "hate" neatness or dislike it at all, I actually prefer it. but I am not going to give a bad review to a map that lacks neatness when it does not require it. Note, this is a minigame puzzle map, not a competitive or Aesthetic map. Neatness WILL NOT improve the game play and it actually might ruin some parts of the map. In a puzzle map, almost everything is placed like it is for a reason, from a little ledge jutting out to a god-forbid crooked box. saying you will not "Q" a map because it is not neat is like saying you will not play a game because of its lacking graphics. It is idiotic. The entertainment level is all that matters and unlike bad graphics, the little "mess ups" can actually improve gameplay more then a straight wall or perfect curve would. "and I only Q, top quality maps" o and aren't you so special, I would have to say you are missing some of the best maps if you really do follow this rule. while perfectly neat maps may stun me for a second I tend to get bored quickly due to the lack of effort put into the actual gameplay and the overemphasis put into the tidiness.
and i think you were missing what i meant in the first place i donnot dislike messy maps i just preffer nice neat ones
And kablooie he was quoting me?... Lolz Anyways... possessed that's just me, and like I said I don't see how interlocking would ruin a map...
>Sloppiness in puzzle maps is highly distracting... Anyway, for the map, i thought the way you incorperated the shield door maze was challenging and creative. A word of advice though, most people dont like to download map packs because you can only download eight things at a time. So always try to compact the challenges into one map (this is where neatness is required.) Or make 4 sepparate maps completely on different posts ^-^ I strongly encourage more maps in the near future, also don't be scared to post maps just because you don't feel like getting in an argument with people. Just learn to take criticism a little lighter.
Within good reason though, everyone has different skill levels and we all can't be gifted in the art of halo 3 cartography. ^-^ But i agree with you that this map is for beginners.
These were pretty fun not nearly as much as some of your later ones but it was nice to see how much you improved in just these 3 puzzles. They we all pretty fun.
