Something simple, nothing sweet. The Stray I came across a stray today, it happened upon my porch. It looked at me as I did it, eyes fiery as a torch. I frightened it, it reared back, legs showing some pain, but still it stood as I knew it would, and that beckoned me forth again. "Little cat" my hand outstreched, "its fine, please don't fear", it made no sound, pushed its head to the ground, and wouldn't come any near. So we sat, me and that cat, looking across the way, neither of us, willing to fuss, the highlight of my day. Started as prose, flew elsewhere. The Calculated Wrath of a Vengeful Man Tonight...is a feast for the few, to you, those who, true, must skew minds, to live a life resigned, refined, which I claim maligned, as I find, that in kind, the crude and the lewd have a feud with morality, scheming over the plurality, an abnormality, but a sad reality, and thus I toast, not to boast, to the roast of most affable, no, laughable, of men, and then I'll send you all to your end, but not before a feast...fit for a friend. the first one was nice, i pictured it pretty well.. except the part about "doing it".. that i didnt make sense of lol.. but i do like the poem otherwise.. as for the second one, i liked it better.. very interesting actually.. i loved the rhymes, and the maniacness associated with it.. it's very exciting and... different, but in a good way
Both of these, amazing. The second one sounds like a Freestyle. And Knight, when he said "It looked at me as I did it" It means that he also looked at the stray when the stray looked at him. (lol, this was at like the 5th page of GnA and I was just browsing.)
THis is the single greatest internal rhyme I have ever heard. I am keeping this somewhere special in my heart.
