I found a way to merge items into the dunes in sandbox. When i say that, i mean merging objects from the grid area into the surrounding sand areas. Ok here's how you do it. 1. Set up the object that you want to geomerge as close to the start of the sand as you can, without it actually touching the sand. Make sure it is entirely flat. 2. Surround it with guiding teleporters. The most important part is to put the reciever nodes on top. 3. While over the sand, start tapping A on the object, so that it is being pulled toward the dunes. It will only go a little at a time, but it will be consistent. Make sure to always have a reciever node on the leading edge so the object is forced down. 4. Keep pulling the object until it is as far into the dunes as you want it. Thats it. In case that was confusing here is a video of it.
