My friend Demonzorz (Formerly Lil Chickens) found this out a while ago... if you put a turret against the inside wall of a double box open you can go through it by using it from the outside wall... to simplify: Make an Open Double Box. Put a turret with the part you grab against one of the walls. Go outside of the double box and go to the area you faced the part you grab against. You should be able to use the turret and go through the wall Could be useful...
Cool idea... but you wouldn't be able to see where you are shooting. :squirrel_eyebrow: It would be a good thing for aesthetic maps, but it wouldn't be good for regular fighting... unless of course you can see through the wall. :squirrel_wink: :squirrel_giggle:
Similar techniques to this have been used in some puzzle maps. Maps i've seen have used mongeese to get through rather than a turret. But the turret glitch is what is used to get out of foundry. check forging 101.
Yes this little glitch isn't used well to shoot from the boxes, but to get into a secret hall or something it works well. Also it is not only double boxes that it works with--it works through walls and such as well.
It's not to shoot from, but to go through walls without using forge. If you go right to the outside wall of the open double box, the turret should be accessable and you can go through that wall.
