    TURBINE

Turbine is a symmetrical arena map built in Forgeworld's forerunner interior section. The main feature of the map, the giant turbine that is its namesake, shoots players up a corkscrew path with a total of 4 lifts. Using vectors and centrifugal force, players spin smoothly around the turbine while ascending levels.

The area on top of the turbine, shown above, provides lines of sight to most of the map's areas, so players fight for control. The drop from the top is significant enough to kill a Spartan. In tests, most players opted for the jet pack to fly between features, but other AAs are equally useful (most gaps can be sprint-jumped and holograms can ride up the corkscrew lift as well).

The rest of the map keeps with the theme. The shot above shows the crane in the construction yard. Construction materials provide cover for those on foot, and a lift behind the crane provides additional access to the top of the turbine.

The reactor room, across from the crane, houses the shotgun spawn within and a focus rifle on the roof. Multiple access points allow for frenetic firefights.

    Weapons list:

    2x DMR
    2x Needle Rifle
    2x Plasma Pistol
    2x Spiker
    2x Needler
    1 Concussion Rifle
    1 Fuel Rod Cannon
    1 Focus Rifle
    1 Shotgun

    10x Plasma Grenades
    6x Frag Grenades
    1 Overshield

This looks relevent towards my intrests concerning competitive maps, but I'm really starting to get sick of maps inside of the colleseum.

The name suits it and it sems like a race to the bottem. Well done.
