I posted this map before on these forums about 2 months ago. I had just updated it recently to make for better gameplay. The map is a long tunnel, actually its the longest possible perfectly straight tunnel you can place on the map, with two bases at either end. The map was initially created for 1 v 1 snipers, but it turned out to be a great multi-flag map, max players 4 on 4. The tunnel is very narrow, only enough room for one person at a time to pass while standing upright, if you were to crouch and move to one side you can easily pass someone. There is an added place to hide in the middle of the tunnel where you can wait while your team catches up to you. It's not perfectly safe there, since there are two windows at either base where you can get sniped from. There is a mongoose at each base for suicide runs for the flag. The updates include: 1.) One bubble shield at each base, instead of just one in the middle, with respawn times of 90 sec. 2.) Changed geometry of red base with sealed floors and walls and the exact dimensions of the blue base. 3.) Added cosmetics outside the map to match the symmetry, teleporters take you back in the map instead of killing you. 4.) Spartan laser in the middle base (180 sec) with neutral spawn points 5.) Fixed respawn times on all weapons. 6.) Sealed floor of tunnel Some people may complain the there is only one point of entry to either base, I have created a version with two points of entry but the gameplay had diminished and there was no reason to go on the main tunnel. This looks so fun. It reminds me of Tunnel Raid which is me and my friend's favorite gametype that we play for hours whenever we get together. The interlocking looks very nice and I like the asthetics that are present (i.e. the angled roof of the tunnel and stuff). For no reason, the only thing that annoys me is in the first pic, the plasmas are spread apart. I know it's not a big deal at all, but it just annoys me, haha. Great map, 5/5 Yay first post =P

I have mixed fealings about this map. Firstly I love the forging and originality in the map, but the gameplay kind of kills it. Let me explain. This map is very original and the interlocking looks extremely clean and smooth. The map is really simple but atleast everything is strait and squared away. But gameplay wise running down a tunnel dragging-my-ass-crouched trying not to get raped doesn't look like much fun. Seems like neither team would ever score without a very lucky run on a mongoose. All in all this isn't a bad map its just doesn't look like a very fun map. Sorry. Keep up the good forging and originality though, good stuff.
That's what I thought when i first made the map, but you do have to realize that there are two bubble shields and 15 sec respawn times on multi-flag. Mongooses are rarely used.
lol, thanks for your post. The reason why the plasmas are separated like that is because when you're playing assault there is a neutral bomb spawn there.
this map looks wonderfully made, original, and the mongooses seem randomly placed. 5. Gameplay SEEMS smooth anyways, but i actually might download this myself, good man.
looks like an amazingly fun map. it reminds me of tunnel raid =D but other than that, i can see nicely, welldone interlocking. looks clean and smooth. Just the perfect amount of equipment Nice weapon placement overall, this looks pretty damn fun =P 4/5 =]
Looks like a very fun map, but I think there should be a second smaller tunnel o teleporters to give more options and strategy 4.5/5 though sorry, missed the part about the other version, maybe u should make it a side tunnel off the main on that gives you protection but takes a lot longer
Nice man, I'm happy to see that you redid the map! It seems that you interlocked alot more or at least smoothened things out. I like the fact that you kept the two spawning rooms with the same dimensions. I also like the spartan lasor in the middle. You did a really great job on this version two with the limitations of Foundry, so 5/5 for that.
I liked the first version of this, i saw that two months ago. This version seems a lot better. I have a question though: With the shield door, how do you get through with the mongoose?
This map is good and all, the only thing is that I went in and looked around and the map is small and there is also a small armory which is not a smart thing to do... just letting you know if you make another
This looks like fun, just like everyone else is saying, it reminds me of Tunnel Raid (Ahh the good old days, lol) Umm, all I have to say is if someone has the sniper then =GAME OVER. Although you put bubble shields, so maybe that id help. Ill Dl to try out.
Well first of all if you are new to forgehub, one of the number one rules is don't spam like a dumbass... anyway now that I have that over with. I played the map and it seems kinda plain... one way there and one way back, that is it. Maybe on a V2 or something you should make outlets of some sort to make it more interesting game play.
The shield doors are placed there so if someone was to get out of the map they can't just chuck grenades inside the map; I'm not too sure why you would want to drive a mongoose inside that small window area.
Nice. This map is very creative and looks good for 2v2. Great forging skills. I suggest to make it a little more bigger. Why is the Sniper and the Shotgun close? Try to consider making them farther apart. Queued. Nice job.
Awesome, ty. Yeah maybe i should just take out the shotguns all together. When you say make it bigger, what do you mean? I think I should make the tunnel wider. If you're talking about making the bases bigger, then I really cant since the blue base is limited to the geometry of foundry.
I have created a game variant recently that should play well for 2 on 2 multi flag. It has 15 second respawn times and you spawn at the same time as your team. It also has a time limit of 20 minutes.
