Tunnel Raid First off, tunnel raid is one of the first real maps i have made (not just messing around.) And the first map i have posted. Tunnel Raid is a small symmetrical map that consists of 3 tunnels. The main tunnel in the middle has an upward slope in the middle. The front tunnel is narrow with almost no cover, just about a third of a fence wall (4 of them). It houses the mauler spawn with fusion coils nearby and a small upward sloping tunnel coming off of it with overshields leading to main tunnel. The back tunnel opens to a wider room with a diamond shape in the middle. This room holds an smg and a mauler. Tunnel Raid is recommended for 1 v 1 or 2 v 2. It supports up to 4 v 4, but even 3 v 3 is pushing the limit of the space. Looks like it is a fun map but, the name is unoriginal which I don't mind lol. Well I like the interlocking and it looks like the game play will run smoothly but you might wanna make it so it supports more poeple and also do the "explosions" lag the game? I'll give this map a 4/5.

and i dont think the explosions cause lag, but i'll check to make sure. if they do, ill remove them along with some other improvements for a V2.
some of the screenshots are at awkward angles, which makes things look crooked. but ya some stuff might need to be refined
dude this looks great. it would be really fun to play 2v2 or 3v3. the weapon placement s are good too except i dislike the trip mines being there. i know it blocks off a whole tunnel kinda and its kind of cool but i dislike trip mines and would replace them with something else(deployable cover would be good) otherwise i like everthing else about the map. 5/5
thanks dude for the compliments and advice ya d-bag bread (joking) i did make the overshield spawn longer before i posted it as well as plasma grenades. and is this what u mean by edited my post. o and i did use mike as well as me and u in the screenshots. thats him getting blown up.
I really like the design of this map. looks very cool. Kinda like paragon. But the map would look a little better if you interlocked some places. 4/5
Hey woody. when the hell did you join. well anyway, i remember playing this map yesterday. A pretty well made 2v2 map but anything more than that is living hell. To the person who asked if the explosions lagged the game, no it doesn't. I suggest two things to you woody. Interlock the open double boxes so it runs a little smoother and put the overshield on a longer respawn. I swear I kept getting that every 30 seconds. You should think of ways to add a second level. With your next post, try to also include recommended gametypes and the respawn times for weapons, equipment, and if necessary the grenades as well. It seems you didn't use brett in any of the pictures, only me (i'm the blue guy). last but not least never double post. The moderators will get on you for that. just edit the last post you posted. *Now going back to sleep, why the hell am i up at 7 in the morning, food i guess.*
Great first post, this is how maps' threads are supposed to be made. This map reminds me of Paragon. In a good way, though the interlocking is much cleaner in Paragon. One thing that you can do to help your map without even worrying about improving your interlocking, is just line walls up straight.
looks fun, except the downward tunnels look like they have ALOT of bumps, and i cant deal with those, so 3.3/5 for that otherwise, good idea, and evolve it into a v2
so jason is this double posting? im not quite clear on that. sorry if it is. and i am working on v2 right now. and prophet of heresy do you mean doors? i dont remember any shield doors
not the best, or worst ive seen. Ill pass on the DL... for now. Just make your interlocking more percise. Percision CAN mean the difference between a Download and a "try again". good job eitherway. you've got skill. you've got potential. you've got a map to prove it. forge on. oh, and double posting is when you post twice without someone posting between the two posts you made.
