    TS Martyr v1
    Recommended Players: 2-8
    Supported Gametypes: Team Slayer, Team Doubles, 1v1
    Power Weapons: Mauler, Rocket Launcher
    Petty Weapons: 4 Plasma Pistols, 2 Needlers, and a few Brs and Carbines
    Grenades: 4 Frag, 4 Plasma

    Description: A small symmetrical battle arena set in the sky bubble. This map is based off an older map I made that was on the default Sandbox level. There were alot of differences between the old and this one, the first being that the old Martyr had two teleporters, two shotguns, two snipers, and an overshield in the very hub. The older one was way too small to play on anyway, and you could easily get out of the map. This one's got a lot cleaner geomerging than the previous, and I added the fancy archs because I had a lot of budget left over.

    So download and let me know what you think. Oh, and this has been tested. It plays very well. The only problem, in my opinion, is the Rocket Launcher, because it feels like it's too powerful on such a small map.

    And one last thing! I left a teleporter on the map that I used to get to the skybubble real quick when i was geomerging haha. I'll take that out as soon as possible!

    The design is so COOL! I love it. I really like the inside of the structure very smooth and clean. Is it set up for FFA by any chance cause you said it can only support team games.

    it's only set up for team games. ill test it with ffa though. if it plays good ill make an ffa version. thanks for the feedback btw!

    Do you actually need to change anything for this to support FFA? It is only for team gameplay that special spawns and such must be placed.

    true....i think i know what you mean but it's a little confusing. cuz all of the spawn points (not the starter spawn points) are default. but then again i think i'd have to make more starter spawn points and change each to "attackers", "defenders", "1st team", etc. right?

    im really happy to see this map... thank you for posting this. and thanks for making it. you have a DL... what you have going on with the third picture is really cool. good idea!
    also whats up with the tele? sorry if you wrote about it. its like 1am and i dont feel like readin. it hurts the eyes

    I love this map! It looks good and seems to play well. Does 2v2 work? One suggestion though I would take out the weapon holder for the rocket and just place the rocket on the ground. That rreally is the only thing, great job.

    If respawns are an issue, just set all points to neutral and make respawn areas to govern which team spawns where. I think you can set respawn areas to symmetrical only, which would allow teams to spawn at their respective sides whilst everyone spawns everywhere in ffa.

    I believe that attackers/defenders spawn points are just used as neutral spawns in FFA and on a map this small I doubt you would want such spawn points. Place all neutral spawn points on the map, then place start points for attackers, defenders, etc. This should make it function for team slayer of FFA. People start at spawn points instead of start points as I recall in FFA

    I don't know if you've noticed it, but a lot of your maps seem at least somewhat inspired by Heretic/Midship.

    aka. the intense power weapon on a bridge perpendiculer to your spawn, with a less powerful close-range weapon underneath.


    As for the map itself, BRAVOOO! It rockzorz, and the communication/knowledge needed to nab yourself a power weapon is a nice addition to the map.

    This sounds more like a gametype discussion than comments on the map...
    I love this map, but I really do think FFA would be best. I cant really tell from just pics but I hope the middle isnt just a gutted out room that would make for an AR-fest. It doesnt look like it though. Everything looks very smooth and I think that you did a great job with this. Keep it up!

    true...but all of my maps have their own uniqueness...and the gameplay's still good anyway. so i guess u do have a point, but anymore every map that gets posted these days maintains that heretic/midship layout...soooo
