I am currently working on a map that has 4 two-way node teleporters (it's a HUGE map! lol) and I'm having trouble setting them up. To paint a picture for you of what I have in mind, I want 2 teleporters to send the player from one island in Forge World to the other and back again. The other 2 teleporters I want at to use to get up and down a structure I have built on one of the islands (told ya...HUGE!) Basically, I'm trying to differentiate 2 teleporters from the other 2. Right now, I go through one and I end up at any of the other 3 at random and I don't wanna do that! Someone, please tell me there's a way to fix this and how? Thnx, Larry
When you're setting up the options for the teleporters, there should be a setting called "channel". If you set two nodes to the same channel alpha, then you'll travel between those. Then, when you introduce a second route, make sure those two nodes are set to the beta channel. You can have a large number of routes as long as you keep changing the channels when introducing new pairs of teles. Hope this helps. I can rephrase it if its unclear.
Click 8 when your reticle is over the teleporter(monitor mode) then click X once you do that scroll down to the one that says channel and change the two that you want to go island to island to Alpha and the other ones as bravo.Hope that helps!
