Welcome one and all to the Trotsky Map Pack. This pack consists of three maps on Sandbox (2 in the skybubble and 1 on the main level) created exclusively by my good friend dBs Trotsky. OBELISK The first map is made for 2v2 Slayer and Oddball and is a relatively small map called Obelisk. (Just so everyone knows, the Gloomy FX is on the map and if you would like to remove it, it is on one of the large floating letters that spell MLG) This map contains: 4x Carbine 30) 2x BR 30) 1x Mauler (1:00) 1x Sniper (2:30) The Blue Base The Red Base Mauler Tower Ball Spawn Sniper Tower (Sniper spawns on the Ledge behind the tower) Map Overview Download Link Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details RESISTANCE Resistance is the largest of the three maps and is designed specifically for 4v4 Slayer or CTF battles. Long sight lines coupled with good cover structures make for excellent gameplay. (The Killball at the top of the map is HARMLESS, it cannot hurt you) This Map Contains 7x Carbine 30) 7x BR 30) 2x Sniper (2:30) 1x Rocket (3:00) 1x Custom (2:00) Blue Base Red Base Sniper Spawn (one in each base) Rocket Spawn Custom Spawn Map Overview (Once again, the Killball is harmless) Download Link Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details BLOOD ORCHID Blood Orchid was the last map I created and my personnal favorite. Two low bases on either side of an impressive central structure with a high and low end on either side. Fight for control of the single sniper and the custom to dominate this map in both Slayer and KOTH. that's a massivly cool center peice on orchid. I may download it, kind of pressed for time atm, but i shall come back at some point.
Obviously, you are a good forger; there are some well built and intricate structures in these three maps. Aesthetically, they are great. Sadly, I do not think MLG maps can work on the ground level of Sandbox as there is far too much open space around the edges, as can be seen in your second map.
to be honest, orchid is my favorite map, cuz its not on the middle plat, but in skybubble, and its bigger than obelisk.

This is true. The first one is too small. The second one is too open. Blood orchid is standalone in its forging and aesthetics. If anything I believe that will get the most downloads because it has what people are looking for. Besides that, what's it with people and map packs lately???
Thanks to everybody for the constructive comments on these maps. Orchid is definitely my most inspired map and plays well in 3v3's. Resistance was just made to see if it would work on the main level and because I had no decently large maps out there. Anyway keep up the comments and any comments on whats good and bad to you about gameplay would be much appreciated. -Trotsky
