Name: Treehouses Description: Release your inner child with two treetop forts. Download Treehouses It seems like a peaceful day up in the canopy, yet little is seen of the battle below. Gametype: Team based 2v2 to 8v8 Slayer, Flag, Assault. Weapons: 4-BR 4-SMG 2-Brute Shot 2-Shotgun 2-Needler 2-Sniper Rifle 2-Swords 1-Rocket Launcher 2-Machine Gun Turret 1-Special weapon hidden on the map near Red side base. Equipment: 2-Flame Grenade 6-Plasma Grenade 2-Trip Mine 2-Energy Drain 1-Regenerator Vehicles: 2-Warthog 2-Mongoose Gameplay: Both teams spawn inside their repective treehouses. Red: To get above simply use the stump inside the base to hop up onto the roof where the turret and the sniper rifle lay. Blue: There is a door that you can hop onto the roof. From there you cross over the tree to the weapons. All weapons except the Rocket launcher are equal distance from both with corresponding side bases for each treehouse. Red Side base. This is how you can climb back into the treehouses again on this side as well. Blue Side base. This is on the opposite side of the map from red side base. Below both bases are two vehicles apeice. They are not very useful on this map, but they are there should someone fall off the treehouses or an enemy tries to run on the ground with the flag or bomb. As you can see all the bases are different. Infact I simply made the trees first then built items around them. Download Treehouses
More pictures of the map would help out a lot. But tree house's? On Foundry? WTF? If I was making one, Then I would have used the tree on Standoff. 3.75/5 for the map. Looks Ok from the pictures.
this map looks really fun to play, ive seen this done a few times before but personally id say this ones the best ive seen. ill dl and rate later =)
Feels like a big forest. Looks very nice too, objects are placed so they make sense and they are straight and in the right place. I guess it would be very fun to play this, I just have to get my xbox repaired first... Very nice work though! 9/10
okay now thats original trees in foundry good job also the trees are well interlocked and it would look better if you took more time on the main tree house
Aww dang someone has beat me to it.. Oh well your map idea of the trees has turned out excellent! 4/5 Keep Forging!
Wow, wow, and um............wow. This map is very nicely done. I like the thought of using boxes as trees and making ariel bases with some actually good reason behind putting them in the air. It has a nice open feel that I think should actually be there, yea I know I'm one to criticize maps for being too open but this is rather well done. My only complaint is that I think you've underestimated the use of vehicles on this map. I think if you added a ghost in the middle, got rid of the hogs, and placed gooses near each of the four corners, you could have some neat little ground skirmishes as well. But with saying all of this, I know that I'd need to play the map before I'd know that for sure, which sadly, I cannot do yet because I've got the E74 error and am gonna get my xbox fixed. But from what I've seen in this map, I have no complaints other than the addition/deletion of said vehicles, and you've got yourself a great map here. Overall, I give it a 9.2/10 and 5 stars. Good job!!
Looks great, too bad there aren't any kind of forge scenery objects that obstruct view only, would've made for a great separation of ground and treetops, but either way great map. I wish I had a treehouse that was that badass when I was a kid.
haha wow, the first pic i saw and i thought it was just a bunch of boxes then i saw the other pics and figured it all out. i really like the interlocking the trees(boxes) with the structures making it more like a tree house other than floating buildings.
I like treehouses maps, and this one is damn good. i have never seen one on foundry. Also, i like how you can get on the roof and the tree tops are curved and stuff. nice floating.
Wow. This looks like it could be an amazing map. I like how there are bases on the treetops; it should change the gameplay quite a bit. Q'ed.
