Ok i've been working for multiple hours and I can't seem to find a way that I like to do this. I'm building a cavern style map that is to have a trapped dead end. The trap is whats bugging me. Its on foundry, if that helps. What I'm looking for is: Trap activated elsewhere (easy) unactivateable on site (hard...) Any suggestions?
Why not make a thing like the switch on pallet parade, with an instant respawning fusion coil that gets held up until you pick up a power up, then it falls down. Powerup is back in 10 seconds, so you have about 5-10 fusion coil explosions on a palh that is under the coil. Would that work?
you could use wire technology because this allows you to activate the switch from however far away but this is only a one use thing so if you wanted multiple uses you could make some sort of switch with a fusion coil that is held by a custom powerup which then is fire at a pallet or something that drops fusion coils on the hallway if you have a any questions you might find h3artificer helpful.
