Trajectory Created by suriname2 and Zadam This is the first map I've posted to ForgeHub. It is a small 1 vs. 1 map, although it can support any FFA gametype. Using only a single claustrophobic room on Orbital, it is very small, but it was mainly created for a break from the endless sandbox maps. It features a tight atmosphere that will test your spatial thinking and grenade-throwing skills, as well as a man-cannon to rapidly traverse the map. Map Download Gametypes: Duel is suggested, supports slayer, KOTH, juggernaut, and oddball Equipment: None Weapons: Mauler x1 Plasma Pistol x1 BR x1 Needler x1 Brute Shot x1 Magnum x1 SMG x1 Spiker x1 Carbine x1 Screenshots: A BR perch, from which the needler can be quickly grabbed. The two levels. Jumping between them is fast and easy, although it does require some awareness. The mancannon will land you on the base of the stairway, where two fusion coils sit for the unwary. The bruteshot spawns on the center square tower, but it can be dangerous to get with a skilled grenadier opposing you. The lower level, possibly the most close-quarters area of the map. It's nothing too serious, but a lot of fun to duel on as a break between bouts on matchmaking. Download and enjoy: Map Download
As good as this idea first seemed I looked onto the pictures and was surprised to see CLUTTER. You need clean house or something because all you have is a bunch of random items put together.
This map just looks like a bunch of random items placed in a tiny room and called it a 1v1 map. No offence, but this is pretty bad, just trying to help. - 1/10
It's interesting that the clutter is the primary complaint, as that was an intentional design choice. Because the map is so small, sightlines are considerably smaller as well, making the main objective getting in a position with the greatest line of sight. As grenades factor heavily into such a match, the toolboxes, cardboard boxes, etcetera merely add to the chaos as they fly through the air. It is my opinion that a cleaner, uniform look would distract from the gameplay and the atmosphere, although the aesthetics of the screenshots may suffer. It's an easier map to navigate than you would think by looking at it.
I know clutter can make some maps good but I honestly cannot find my way around in this, despite the small size. Additionally the number of weapons scares me considering you expect this to be a 1v1 map. This is not btb so try to cure your weaponitis
