I was thinking more in the sense that everyone would have to do that, otherwise some would have an advantage of knowing someone is nearby.
Not so, mute works in both directions if you mute someone you can't hear them and they can't hear you.
He means for the whole game... for it to be fair, EVERYONE in the room needs to shut off proximity voice. That way someone can't hear someone else around the corner if they are on opposite teams.
Yea, but like I said only one whole team would have to. Mute goes in both directions. If I mute you you can't hear me either.
I'm not sure those options work both ways because your not actually muting them... proximity is a feature of Halo not XBL, but if it does work then cool....
I'm certain. Tested it many time. Useful both for strategy and if you're a jerk who doesn't like people but still plays with them online.
I was wondering about the motion tracker as well, I changed it 10 meters, but maybe it should be turned off. There's a second floor on my map that you can jump up to in various spots, other then that it will just remove the feeling that your stuck to the ground, although it will be tactically a bad idea to actually jump.
NO DO NOT REMOVE THE RADAR!!! If you do it turns the game into a run-and-gun fest. We tested it... there is no strategy after you remove it, cuz then nobody is cautious about there location being revealed. Jumping and no vehicle usage is fine though...
No cuz then you aren't as cautious... and with the newer SWAT maps being larger than Training Ground, 25 meters is going to be required...
I would think that you'd have to be more cautious, since you can see less by just looking at your radar. I'd like to see exactly how big Tygards maps are, mine is more medium sized, so 10 meters works great.
If its bigger than Training Ground then yes we need 25 meters... and the Rat's Nest indoor one that I saw, will need 25 meter radar...
Or more... there were many occasions when someone was in plain sight running along a hall and they weren't on the radar.
My Rat's Nest large map is pretty big. The Standoff one is also pretty large, however if you stay in the playing area (your stupid if you don't) Then 25 will work great.
So 25 meters it is then... my current change log is: -Normal Gravity -Normal Speed -Vehicles on Map -Vehicle Usage: None
Bungie really needs to add a lot more tick marks in some of their settings. I don't care if it takes me 5 extra seconds, I want to set score to win to 62.
