thought i would try and use a part of forgeworld that is somewhat ignored, only to find that people have now started using it!

i am currently close to final layout

you can download the map here

however - there are no gametypes or spawn points. so don't be expecting to play on it!

just looking for a second opinion on what works/doesn't.

    thanks.

    here come the screenshots

    another aerial view

the 'balcony' to the left accommodates for the snipers, i do not generally allow for them but the position only dominates half the map and is very open, so hard to hold and get to)

it is quite an open map.

the middle dividing wall - you can get through on either end or through the middle.

though that is not shown in this version of the map i added to it yesterday so there are some slight variations

i do not plan to allow for banshee, i have added soft kill areas to keep people low. there a couple of areas that allow for sniping spots, but no overpowering line of sights.

    thanks for looking.

Ehhh... The map seems too random for me personally. Some people might like it but everything seems cluttered. I kinda like the whole Diablo II stone thing with the Struts. You probably were not even thinking about Diablo II but...Thats what I think of when I see it lol.

Also don't really know whats to the beach of the Gultch. Is that part of the map just empty...? Is there a soft kill zone in that direction or something? I like using Colossal walls to let people know, or get the impression they are not supposed to be back behind it. I like people being able to see a clear line of where the soft kill zone begins. This is very important with normal kill zones lol.

Again though...This just isn't personally my type of map, and not the way I forge. Keep on forging though :)!
