Torque is a very small, symmetrical map, located in the sky bubble of Sandbox. This map has played well 4v4, but I think it is best suited for 2v2. All games are fast paced and a little hectic, so if that type of game appeals to you, give it a shot. I think Team BRs and Capture the Flag (two flag) were the best. Keep in mind that this is a sky bubble map, so any flag, bomb, or odd ball games should have fast reset times in case the items fall off the map. Ive never been a huge fan of a hectic styled gameplay. it tends to just frustrate me when there are so many starting grenades that it envelopes the entire map in explosions... have you thought of adding more frags on the map and suggesting to take off starting nades? it would still be a hectic game, just that frags wouldnt be used so meaninglessly. otherwise nice map, lots of small structures that add nice eye candy like the carbine spawn =P nice job
Looks fantastic! Actually, the design somewhat reminds me of Solarium, just a larger and more open version. The weapon placement is great as well. It looks like it would play very well on CTF. This is only a suggestion, and I've never played on it yet, but why not put a Bubble Shield. There are so many open ledges where it could come in handy. Anyway, I will definitely download.
looks good. I like the weapon placement but you should add more low-power weapons, like the magnum. Also, remove the starting nades. Otherwise, the forging and placement is great! Nice carbine spawn.

My upcoming (and failing) map Shockwave has a design very very similar to this. Except yours is smaller and thus, a little more plausible than my map. This looks way better than mine (I'm done with it, but I don't even wanna post it because it is so fail) and I am gonna download and check this out. Obviously I already like the design being that I designed a map so similar. Very nice work.
OH WOW! This is a veary nice post let alone a very good map nd has lots of asthetic in it. i love this map and recemend it to anyone that likes an MLG feel to the map. i really like the map and i hope to see a v2 real soon if and when you make another could you post a link on my page? Also i would like it if i could post some of your Architectures on to my master list. 5/5 on the map veary fun and smooth plus pritty in an architectural way.

Who doesn't like explosions?? Hater! Anyway, the overall concept of the map has been done before (a 4 sided outer rim connecting to a centerpiece) , but the designing and crafting of this map is very good. So good job, take some gameplay advice from a couple people here. Anyway, overall I think this is deserving of a 9/10. Now even though you say it's Doubles, what's the max amount of players possible (spawn points)?
Max players 8 on team games, 4v4 works well (but i still think 2v2 is best). I would not go that high for free for all, as some spawn issues will happen. So 4, maybe 6, on free for all.
Because he's just filling his post with bullshit so that it looks less like spam. That's why. All he ever does is congratulate people on cool-looking structures and ask if he can put them in his pointless Architecture Master List thing. *sigh* Anyway, I really like what I'm seeing so far. You have a short, clean post, which seems to go well with the map, as it's for quick, hectic 2v2 battles. The layout is pretty basic, but in this case, that's not a bad thing. You don't need to have crazy aesthetics and structures to have an effective 2v2 map. I'll definitely check this out, as it looks great for warm-up matches at the very least. Nice job. (Note: I'm going on vacation for a week starting tomorrow, so I won't be able to give you feedback until next Monday at the earliest. I won't forget to play it, though!) EDIT: Bizarre delays, personal stuff, etc. have slowed me on this one. Sorry. I'm gonna try and play it this week.
Looks like a great map, very well forged and good weapon placement. I'll DL and get back to you. UPDATE- Just as I suspected, this map is incredible!!! Just got done playin a little 3 v 3 slayer and man , was it fun. Intense, fast paced gameplay, and as people have said, it's a bit chaotic, but that isn't necessarily bad. Weapons are great, good choices, and balanced, specifically the carbines in place of BRs were nice. Flawless forging, and great aesthetics. Now I understand why its called torque, it's a blast to drop in behind people as they enter your base. Keep it up dude, you are an amazing forger and IMO this is your best map yet.
Wow Ant, how did this slip by me? I would not have know this was posted if i didnt see it on your sig. This just slipped right past huh? Anyway, I like the way this map plays, perfect for 2v2 or 1v1. We had a few games of 4v4 on it but it seemed a little cramped for that. Keep up the good work, looking forward to getting a few games in on Ghost Run.
