I am holding a LAN party soon with some friends and was wanting to play only forged maps. We want to play a good variety of maps, mostly competitive maps. Really good ones please.

Can you suggest some good maps to me?

I already decided to use Genome. I want more maps that are just as good.

    Thank you.

Look through the featured maps forum, and if there aren't enough there, you can look through the forge hub favorites and hidden gems. Depending on the size of your party you might be disappointed because the staff don't feature many big team or invasion maps.

Why not just download and walk through a bunch of maps, and then play the ones that weren't completely broken. Over time, you'll come to find several as being group favorites, and others as being less desirable. Keep repeating this untill your entire maps list is filled with only the greatest maps you've found. I've done this in Halo 3, and can officialy say that all 100 of my maps and all 82 of my gametypes are top notch quality.

I haven't seen as many Reach forge maps that are as memorable as my Halo 3 favorites, but there are bound to be at least a few. I'd recomend you look at the maps on the MLG forums for the the best competitive maps. If nothing comes up there, just scan through our very own Competitive section and download whatever catches your eye.

As for maps that I think would be appealing to you, I can only say the old "beuty is in the eye of the beholder" shtick. No two people are going to like the exact same maps all of the time. It would be way more beneficial for you to just try and find your own style of preffered map, and go with those for your Custom Games (unless the party hates it, in which case you shouldn't play it anymore). Cheers, and good luck Proximo.
