    Welcome to dented_drum's Thread Management™.

    Lately, I've had a burning desire to get plugged into the ForgeHub community a bit more. I wasn't sure how, but I knew I wanted to be more than the kid who always types in blue. So, with that in mind, I'd like to begin what is to be my guide on managing the thread for your map.

    [COLOR=blue][I]This guide will consist of a whole, whole lot of stuff. I'm going to start with what I've learned, and gradually add usefull things that gather from posts/PM/etc. [/I][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=blue][B][I]Please, do not count me as being boastful for this, do not consider it an attempt to achieve some kind of self-glorification, and do not think I'm simply trying to get a [COLOR=blue]lot of +Rep or some crap.[/COLOR][/I][/B][/COLOR]
    I'm doing this solely for the purpose of seeing what can come of it. I want to see brilliant posts, not according to what I'll say here, but a step up from what I say here. Thanks a lot!

    [FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue][I]Here is something I'll explain how to do later on. Basically, it is a link that, when clicked, sends you to a different part of your thread. You can use this to make your post look more organized, or simply to help the reader sift through your mountains of text (hopefully).[/I][/COLOR][/FONT]

    [jumpto=a5]IE. Making a Picture for Your Signature[/jumpto]

    [aname=a1]IA. Preface[/aname]
    [FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue][I]Alrighty, I'd like to start out simple. Every map on ForgeHub needs pictures. Sadly, we're only allowed to use a maximum of 20-per-post. Now, 20 is plenty to show what your map has to offer, but on rare occasions, it can limit a Forger in his post. [/I][/COLOR][/FONT]

    [aname=a2]IB. Taking the Picture[/aname]
    [FONT=Georgia][I]To get an image in your thread, you must first take the picture in Theater mode. You'll notice a small icon on your screen after taking a picture. This is letting you know that it's being sent to your Bungie.net account. If you end the game, or interrupt this process, you will not be able to see the picture on your computer. [/I][/FONT]

    [FONT=Georgia][I]Now, once you've got it there, simply copy/paste the picture into MS Paint. From there, you can apply minor edits such as text or really, really bad flames. [/I][/FONT]

    [aname=a3]IC. Uploading Your Picture to the Internet[/aname]
    [FONT=Georgia][I]You'll need to upload your picture to the internet. To do that, select an image hosting website:::[/I][/FONT]
    [SIZE=+0][SIZE=+0][URL="http://imageshack.us/"]IMAGESHACK[/URL][/SIZE][/SIZE]
    [SIZE=+0][SIZE=+0][URL="http://www.photobucket.com/"]PHOTOBUCKET[/URL][/SIZE][/SIZE]
    [SIZE=+0][SIZE=+0][URL="http://www.tinypic.com/"]TINYPIC[/URL][/SIZE][/SIZE]

    From that point, you'll want to simply copy the
    ##DIRECT LINK##
    or
    ##IMAGE URL##

    [aname=a4]ID. Getting Your Picture to ForgeHub[/aname]
    Copy/paste this code into the "Insert Image" button at the top of the box which you type in. (It's the one with the wee little mountains.)

    Now, you have a picture in your thread!

    [aname=a5]IE. Making a Picture for Your Signature[/aname]
    This can be done so many ways that I almost ommited this from this thread. However, my goal is to have this as full of information as I can. So, I'll give you a simple way, and then let you know exactly how to put it in your signature.

    First of all, most people don't know that MS Paint can do some of the things it can. I compile all my threads using only MS Paint and the tricks shown in this thread. So, you should know that no huge amount of skill is necessary. It is only a matter of patience and dedication.

    So, with those things in mind, let's get started. When you click A on the left control panel of MS Paint, two boxes appear below the control panel. One is auto-highlighted, and the other is selectable. Now, most don't know how to use that button. All it does it set the transparency. That is, on the default setting, your box of text will have whatever color background you choose (default: white). However, when you click the other box, your text then sits on top of whatever image is in the background. So, you're able to write text directly onto your image. As I said, this is not quantam physics. It's just a solid, reliable way of managing your map's thread.

    Now, once you've clicked the magical button, you need to select a color of text that will contrast with the color of the picture in the background. If you're using a picture of your map as the background, I recommend that you right click the color, White. This will make your text white (duh).

    After that, save the picture to your computer and upload it to an image hosting website just like the others. Now, you've got to copy the URL. In order to put it in your signature, you must first log in to ForgeHub; then, click on User CP on your Navigation Bar. Once on that page, (to the left) you will see Edit Signature. Yeah, you're gonna wanna click this (another duh).

    Now, when editting your signature, you'll get the same text box as if you're posting a comment or new thread. So, inserting your picture works the same way. Once you've inserted the picture, type the following code:::

    )( = ][

    So, there's the Picture section. Hopefully, you learned something. If not, then hopefully someone else will. As you'll find out throughout this entire post, most veterans know all of this. I see so many new members who have the initiative and the will to be professional, but they don't quite understand ForgeHub yet. I hope to help anyone I can, but don't bark at me for "telling us all the noob stuff."

    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, you'll instantly want to say that "TYPING" is a pretty freaking vague section, and you're right. This one will be fairly lengthy, so I highly advise putting my little "jumpto" links to use. After all, they are really annoying to do, ha. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2] [/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]"TYPING" will include a both tips on what you type and how you type it.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][SIZE=+0][/I][/CENTER]
    [COLOR=blue] [/COLOR]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][B][aname=b2]IIB. Coordinate Your Font/Color[/aname][/B][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]This should be something you consider before even posting a map. Distinguishing yourself by using a different font is something you're very likely to get some credit for. After my first 50 posts or so, I caught onto this. I started using the font/color you see now. I use Georgia, size 2, italicized, blue font. It's pretty, and it serves the purpose I need.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Each person needs to have something to this tune. Have a little quirk in your typing that sets you apart. Use this both inside and outside the threads that you post. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][COLOR=blue][SIZE=2][FONT=Georgia][I]Try "accessorizing" with different things. Remember that standard font styles are preferred to ones such as[/I] [FONT=Comic Sans MS]Comic Sans MS[/FONT] [I]or [/I][/FONT][FONT=Impact]Impact[/FONT][FONT=Georgia][I].[/I] [I]However, using these is, in no way, forbidden. This is mere preferance for me, and you can discern which is best on your own. Most folks will value a clean, classy post over one with wild text styles.[/I][/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Finally, be sure to mix up your size and color a bit throughout your post. For headers or titles, make the font bigger or a different color. Use one, simple-looking font for your general text. I like to put each different text faction into its own category. Then, I edit each section to the defined settings of my choice. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [COLOR=blue] [/COLOR]

    [I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]General text.[/COLOR][/FONT][/I]
    [FONT=System][COLOR=blue]Jumpto Links[/COLOR][/FONT][/CENTER]
    [COLOR=blue] [/COLOR]
    [COLOR=blue] [/COLOR]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Get the idea? Alrighty, well that sums up that section. Hopefully, you were able to learn something, and I'll be able to see your applications in future maps![/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][B][aname=b3]IIC. Description[/aname][/B][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Typing your Description is arguably the most important part of your thread. What you say, and even how you say it, is the first impression to the viewer. With the description, you can either type it in one bulk section at the top of your thread, or you can separate it amongst the pictures which you're describing. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]I go with option #2. I find it best to give a picture, and then tell everything in that picture. I tell what passageways are viewable from that picture, what weapons are close by, and any other neat factoids from playtesting/building. Personalizing your post is key. If you had a rough time with a merge, or you couldn't figure out what weapon to use, then tell the reader! Everyone will admire your persistance, or whatever it is that helped you turn your map from [U]good[/U] to [U]better[/U]. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Also, I'd like to highly suggest that you [B]always [/B]give somewhat of a description for each picture. Even action shots deserve a story or simple note of what's happening. Tell of a triumphant victory or a severe loss. Whatever you can say that will add to the flavor of your post, do it![/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Lastly: [U]TEH GRAMAR KNOTSEE[/U]. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]I cannot stress how important it is to type properly. When reading a post, nothing disturbs me more than to see a dangling modifier or an inproper use of a verbal. Now, that's a little picky, I know. However, many folks pay attention to that sort of thing. At the very least, type as proper as you are able. No one is without mistake; but, so long as you make an attempt to spell correctly, capatilize the right words, and separate your phrases with some sort of punctuation, your readers should be pleased.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][B][aname=b4]IID. Weapons/Equipment List[/aname][/B][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]This part is fairly simple. DO IT![/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Your post [B]always[/B] needs a list of [B]every [/B]weapon and [B]every[/B] piece of equipment. Now, the trick is getting it in an easy-to-read form. The most recent form I did looked something like...[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]___________________________________________[/COLOR][/FONT][/I]
    [B][I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=red](# on map) Weapon[/COLOR][/FONT][/I][/B]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]Number of Spare Clips - Respawn Time[/COLOR][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia]-------------[/FONT][/I]
    [B][I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=red](# on map) Equipment Piece[/COLOR][/FONT][/I][/B]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]Respawn Time[/COLOR][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]___________________________________________[/COLOR][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]

    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, when I give the Respawn Time, I never give simply the number. I always say, "60 Second Respawn," or whatever the item calls for. I recommend doing this in order to prevent confusion in the reader. You don't ever want the reader having to decipher what number means what. It needs to be easy, neat, and readable.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]That said, I'd like to take this brief opportunity to show a map that was very recently released. This is, in no way, an advertisement for the person responsible for this map. I've actually never talked to him more than just asking him if he minded me linking to his post. I was thoroughly impressed with his style, and I'm going to use it as a template to show you a different way of posting your map.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][B][URL="http://www.forgehub.com/forum/competitive-maps/21932-transgression.html"][U]TRANSGRESSION[/U][/URL][/B][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, click that link and you'll be able to check out his style. Basically, he did a lot of image editting. You can do this by finding a semi-decent one online for free, or by taking the more professional route of buying a program such as PhotoShop. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]His method is simply beautiful; however, I'd like to stress that it's not necessary. While folks, such as myself, admire this, it is completely possible to achieve bliss in your thread without any PhotoShop-ing skills whatsoever.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][B][aname=b5]IIE. Separators/Symbols[/aname][/B][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Ok, so this part isn't tough. This is where I merely recommend that you use some form of originality. I'd like to say that this doesn't even deserve its own subsection, but it certainly makes a post look prettier, so here it is![/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Using symbols to designate certain sections of your post makes it look even more professional. You'll notice that I used a combination of bolded, different-colored plus signs. Now, the plus signs are a standard symbol, but they look nice when used correctly. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, I'll give you a few that you can use however you like. Mix 'em, and play with 'em to make one great looking separator![/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][FONT=Symbol][SIZE=5][COLOR=blue]± ´ ¸ Ò Ó Ø ¦ G D Q X P S F Y W À Á Â Ã Ô « ¬ ® ¯ ¿ Û Ü Ý Þ ß " $ ' @ \ ^ £ ¥ ¶ · ¹ Ä Å Æ Ç È É Ð Ñ Ö × § ¨ © ª[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][I]Ok, now that's just a few of them, but you have a little selection to accessorize with. I do have one thing to note, though. If the computer a person is viewing your thread on does not have the font style which holds the particular character, the shape that you see will not be the shape they see. [/I][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][I]They'll see[/I][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]
    [FONT=Symbol][COLOR=blue]ð[I][FONT=Georgia],[/FONT][/I][/COLOR][/FONT]
    [FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][I]and you'll see whatever character you put in. This isn't a big deal considering that most computers have the basic font styles that have these special symbols, but it's something to keep in mind.[/I][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][B][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][aname=b6]IIF. Special Thanks[/aname][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/B]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Again, this is fairly simple. Everyone admires a person who gives credit to those who help him. Make this section of your post detailed. Don't shortcut any person's special "thank you." Giving at least a few sentences for each person who helped you in some way will not only look good, but it will gain you some respect from the readers you seek to please. [CENTER][FONT=Arial Black][COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue][FONT=Arial Black][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2]Now, these are plain sick. If you can use these properly, you'll come out with one heck of a post! It looks nice; it helps the reader; it looks nice; it helps you; it looks nice; [B]it's completely flawless![/B][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR][/FONT][/CENTER][FONT=Arial Black][COLOR=blue]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][FONT=Arial Black][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, the BBS Code System which ForgeHub uses is still something I'm trying to adjust to. I work fairly well with HTML Coding, but this is one of those neat things that I've just recently figured out with BBS. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/FONT][/CENTER][FONT=Arial Black]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]As you probably know, the coding for ForgeHub is designated by brackets ][[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]So, if I were to explain this code using brackets, it would end up working. With that in mind, I will be using parantheses, )(, in the place of brackets, ][. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]The code is separated into two parts. You must wrap code around the link itself as well as the word/picture you want the link to go to. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]For the link itself, you will use the actual [B]jumpto[/B] code. It looks like this::[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [COLOR=green]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]_______________________________[/COLOR][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]

    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=red][B](jumpto=a)LINK GOES HERE(/jumpto)[/B][/COLOR][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]_______________________________[/COLOR][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]

    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, the part where I put "A" is whatever you choose to set it to. You can put "MYNAMEISBOB" if you choose. It only matters that you match the definition of the [B]jumpto[/B] code with the definition of the [B]aname[/B] code.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, to further explain my previous statement, this is what the [B]aname[/B] code to match would look like:::[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]

    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]___________________________________[/COLOR][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]

    [CENTER][B][I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=red](aname=a)THE LINK WOULD SEND YOU HERE(/aname)[/COLOR][/FONT][/I][/B]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][COLOR=blue]___________________________________[/COLOR][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]

    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, that should make perfect sense to you. As with anything else, [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][U][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]if you do not understand my explanation or have a [/COLOR][COLOR=blue]question about it, do not hesitate to ask me. Posting in this thread is the quickest way to get an answer from either me or another helpful citizen.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/U][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]

    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][FONT=Georgia][I]Alrighty, this section is my thoughts on what to do outside of the original post. That's right, you [B]actually[/B] have to keep up the hard work after you've done all this other crap. I'll go over your own comments, how to handle the comments of others, and the bonus section: [/I][/FONT][FONT=System]IVD. Et Cetera[/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]

    [CENTER][B][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][aname=c2]IVB. Comments[/aname][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/B]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Now, it has been slightly debated whether or not one can ethically post in his own thread. Some don't do it because they fear that they will be accused of bumping their own thread to the top. This is a kind offering of humility, but it is not necessary. As a matter of fact, both the commentors and others reading your thread will appreciate your attention to your map's thread even after it's been posted.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]To summarize that whole last bit: Reply to each and every comment in your thread. Now, it is against the rules and simply idiotic to double-post, but with the multi-quote system, you can easily quote multiple posts and reply accordingly. Whether you write a paragraph explaining a question or you give a kind "thank you," it will always be appreciated.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][B][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][aname=c3]IVC. Etiquette[/aname][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/B]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Alrighty, so we've all encountered the idiotic guy who criticizes your map because he's obviously taking part in some form of his own, hyper-evolved menstrul cycle. Turns out, there is always a proper way to handle this guy. It takes a bit of patience and humility, but you can end up with laughing readers and a good conscience.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][B][COLOR=red]1. Never retaliate.[/COLOR][/B] [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Perhaps, he's kept within ForgeHub standards while still managing to grate against your last nerve. Nothing is a reason for you to participate in flaming.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][B][COLOR=red]2. Always say something.[/COLOR][/B] [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Going without words makes it appear as if you're unable to defend your creation. You don't want this to happen. It is best to address his problem, and either admit that he has a reason to think what he does or counter it with a detailed response. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][B][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=red]3. Try to make a friend.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/B]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]Often times, this person is merely having a bad day. Answering his complaint respectfully will earn you respect from others, and likely, respect from complainer. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][B][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][aname=c4]IVD. Et Cetera[/aname][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/B]
    [I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]So, possibly I beefed this section up a bit much. Honestly, this is just where I tell you to think outside the box a bit.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]I've recently begun adding more than just words to my comments on my own thread. I go to [B][url=http://icanhascheezburger.com]Lolcats ‘n’ Funny Pictures of Cats - I Can Has Cheezburger?[/url][/B] and pick up a funny picture. By right clicking the picture itself, then clicking "Properties," you can find the URL to the specific image. Post this the same way you do a picture in your thread, and you've got a funny picture to start out Quote Fest '08. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]
    [SIZE=2][COLOR=blue] [/COLOR][/SIZE]
    [CENTER][I][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue]This idea isn't limited to pictures at all. You can link to a video, game, or informative news on CNN. It doesn't matter. Have fun with every post you make. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/I][/CENTER]

    [CENTER][FONT=Arial Black][COLOR=blue][COLOR=green][FONT=Arial Black][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=2][COLOR=blue][I]My goal was pretty obvious in doing this. Nothing aggravates me more than to see someone who understands Forge and its capabilities, but doesn't understand how to use ForgeHub to the best of its capabilities. So, I want those people who desire a sense of professionalism to have an outlet from which to reap some sort of benefit. I hope everyone can at least get one thing from this, and maybe we'll have a lot of pretty, pretty posts to come in the future! Hey, thanks a lot, guys!

    Please, everyone bear with me. A few of my jumpto links aren't working. However, when I attempt to edit the post, font sizes and font colors change on their own. This problem turned my 5-hour post into a 7-hour post. I had to completely re-do the sizing and coloring for everything, and that took a while. So, just be patient because I'm trying to edit/fix the post without messing up all that again.
